Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this thing called “memes dodgers” lately. It all started when I stumbled upon some random stuff about memes online. I got curious, you know? So I thought, why not try making some myself? No clue what I was doing, honestly.
First, I spent hours just scrolling through tons of memes. Like, a LOT. I was trying to figure out what makes them tick, what’s funny, what’s not. It’s like learning a new language, seriously. And boy, did I feel old.
Then, I started picking out pictures and videos that I thought could be funny. Found some hilarious cat videos – those are always gold. And some weird, random stock photos that just looked goofy.
Next, the hard part – coming up with captions. This was a struggle. I’d write something, think it was hilarious, then show it to my kid and get a blank stare. Back to the drawing board, many times. But I kept at it, trying different combinations of pictures and words. Some of it was crap, not gonna lie.
I Made Them
- Choosing pics/videos: Scrolled through a bunch of stuff, found funny cat videos and goofy stock photos.
- Making captions: Wrote a ton, most were bad, got some blank stares from my kid.
- Putting them together: Matched pics and captions. Felt like a mad scientist.
But then, I started getting it. A few of them actually made me laugh. And even my kid cracked a smile at one. Success! It’s a weird feeling, creating something that actually makes people chuckle.
After making a bunch, I started tweaking them. Changing a word here, a picture there. Testing them out on friends, seeing what worked. It was a lot of trial and error. Some memes bombed, others did okay. It’s a tough crowd out there, let me tell you.
So, that’s been my little adventure with memes. I am just starting a trip about this. Still learning, still messing up, but having fun along the way. Who knew making silly pictures with words could be so entertaining?
