Well, let me tell you about these New Mexico Lobos. 2024, they say. Big year for football, I hear. Them Lobos, they’re from that University of New Mexico. They got a whole mess of offers, 42 they say! That’s a lot of young’uns wanting to play for ’em.
They play in that Mountain West Conference, you know? My grandson, he keeps yapping about all these teams. He says that’s a big deal in college football. I don’t know much about all that, but it sounds fancy. New Mexico Lobos, they gonna be playin’ football in 2024, that’s for sure.
Now, I seen on that there internet, there’s a whole bunch of places talkin’ about these New Mexico 2024 Football Offers. They list ’em all out. I don’t understand all them letters, ACC, AAC, Big 12. Sounds like alphabet soup to me! But it’s a big deal to them football folks, I reckon.
These boys, they go to school down there in Albuquerque. That’s a big city, ain’t it? Bigger than our little town, that’s for sure. They got all them fancy buildings and whatnot. My grandson, he wants to go to one of them big schools. Maybe he’ll be a Lobo someday, who knows?

You know, they got this thing called “depth.” That mean how many good players they got. Like how deep the well is, I guess. The deeper, the better. So, if some players get hurt, they got others to take their place. Makes sense, don’t it?
