Alright, so, about this “Chad Leonard Citadel” thing, let me tell you how it all went down for me. It wasn’t some big planned-out project, you know? Just kinda happened.
So, I’m scrolling through my social media, and I kept seeing this name – Riley Leonard. Apparently, he’s a quarterback for Notre Dame. I’m not a huge football guy, but I’m like, “Okay, who’s this dude?” Then, I saw people talking about his favorite Bible verse, Matthew 23:12, “Whoever exalts himself will be humbled.” It caught my eye because, you know, that’s a pretty good verse, I think. And I remembered that I heard this name before, but I couldn’t remember where.
Then it hit me. Chad Leonard! He’s Riley’s dad, and the name rang a bell because Chad Leonard used to play basketball at The Citadel, a college. I did a little digging, and yep, found out Chad played there back in the 90s under Coach Pat Dennis. That’s how I knew him! I used to follow college basketball a bit back in the day, and The Citadel had some good games.
I started looking more into Chad Leonard’s time at The Citadel. He played for four seasons, and I even found some old stats from his games. It was a trip down memory lane, seeing those old box scores and team rosters. I found out he was a pretty good player back in the 90s, but I couldn’t remember where he went next.
Turns out, Chad Leonard has made it big time. He’s an Advisory Senior Manager at Deloitte in McLean, Virginia, with over 500 connections on LinkedIn. I mean, that’s a serious job! Way to go, Chad!
So, that’s my little adventure with “Chad Leonard Citadel.” It started with a football player’s Bible verse and ended with me looking up a college basketball player’s career stats and finding out he’s now a big shot at Deloitte. Just a regular day of internet discoveries for me, I guess!
