Get the Artifact of Delusion in Risk of Rain 2: A Step by Step Guide

Okay, so, I’ve been digging into this game called “Risk of Rain 2” lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. Specifically, I wanted to snag this thing called the “Artifact of Delusion”. Yeah, sounds fancy, right? It’s basically this power-up that messes with the game a bit. I heard it makes you gamble your items after a boss fight for a shot at getting even more loot. Sounds like a sweet deal to me!

So, I started looking up how to get this Artifact of Delusion. Turns out, it’s not just handed to you. You gotta unlock it. I saw some stuff online saying it’s related to the recent “Devotion Update” or something like that. The game got a big update 5 days ago, must have added new stuff, new content or something like that. I don’t really care about that stuff, I just want this “Artifact of Delusion” thing. It makes the game more fun and I love collecting items so this is like the perfect power up for me.

I fired up the game and just started playing. I tried just playing normally, hoping it would pop up. Nope, nothing. Then I thought, “Maybe there’s a specific level or something?” I found a comment somewhere that mentioned taking a “Blue Portal” on Stage 6. What’s a Blue Portal? No clue but I guess I’ll find out.

I played until Stage 6, and there it was, a Blue Portal! I jumped in, and I ended up in some hidden realm. It was different from the other levels. I did the usual, killed some monsters, found some chests… and boom! I got a notification that I unlocked the Artifact of Delusion!

Now, with the Artifact of Delusion unlocked, things got interesting. Every time I finished a teleporter event, a chest appeared, but it wasn’t just any chest, there was also a weird memory game. I had to pick the right item out of a lineup to get extra items. Get it wrong, I lose the chest. It’s a gamble, but when you win, you really win. I was swimming in items, man!

So, that’s my story of getting the Artifact of Delusion in “Risk of Rain 2”. It was a bit of a hunt, but totally worth it. If you’re playing this game, I definitely recommend going for it. It adds a whole new layer of fun, especially if you’re a loot goblin like me.
