Alright, so the other day I got it in my head that I wanted to figure out this whole Anoa’i family tree thing. You know, the wrestling family? It’s massive and kind of confusing, so I decided to map it all out. It was a whole thing, let me tell you.
First, I started digging around online, just to get a basic idea. Turns out, this family is like, wrestling royalty. They go way back. I mean, we’re talking about the early 1900s here. I found out the whole thing started with these two guys, Tovaleomanaia Amituana’i and Amituana’i Anoa’i. They’re like the great-great-grandfathers of the whole operation.
So then I started making a list of all the names I was finding. It got pretty long, pretty fast. You got your Afa, and your Sika, who were big deals in their time, and they’re like, the sons of one of those original guys. Then they had kids, who had kids, and so on. It’s a whole dynasty!
After I had a pretty good list going, I grabbed a big sheet of paper and started drawing out the actual tree. I put the original two guys at the top, and then started branching out, generation by generation. It was messy, but it was starting to make sense.
- First Generation: Started with Tovaleomanaia Amituana’i and Amituana’i Anoa’i.
- Second Generation: Their kids, including Afa and Sika, who became wrestlers.
- Third Generation: This is where it really explodes, with tons of names, including The Rock and Roman Reigns.
It took me a while, but I finally managed to get most of the big names on there. The Rock and Roman Reigns are in there, of course, they are like, third generation. But there were so many others! It’s crazy how many wrestlers came from just this one family.
Once I had the tree mostly filled out, I double-checked everything online, just to make sure I didn’t mess anything up too badly. It was a lot of going back and forth, fixing little mistakes here and there.
Finally, I had this huge, sprawling family tree laid out in front of me. It was a little rough around the edges, but it was done! I felt like I had finally cracked the code of this wrestling family’s history. It was a pretty cool feeling, I have to say. And now, whenever I see one of these guys on TV, I’ll actually know where they fit into the whole family saga.
