Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this game, Genshin Impact, and let me tell you, getting the right weapon for your character can be a real game-changer. I was looking for something for my healer, and I stumbled upon this thing called the Prototype Amber. It’s a catalyst, you know, for those magic-users.
First off, I had to figure out how to even get this thing. Turns out, it’s not something you just find lying around. You gotta craft it. And for that, I needed some special item called a “Northlander Catalyst Billet.” Sounds fancy, right? Well, let me tell you, getting one of these billets isn’t exactly a walk in the park. I spent days grinding, doing those weekly boss fights, and hoping it would drop. Finally, after like, a whole week, I managed to snag one! I felt like a champion.
Forging the Prototype Amber
With the billet in my virtual pocket, I headed over to the blacksmith. Every major town in the game has one. I found the guy with the hammer and the anvil – can’t miss him – and told him I wanted to craft the Prototype Amber. He showed me the recipe.
- Northlander Catalyst Billet: 1, that was the hard part!
- Crystal Chunks: 50. These I had a decent amount of, but I still had to go mining for a while. Just whack at those shiny rocks, you know?
- White Iron Chunks: 50. Same story as the crystal chunks, more mining was in order.
- Mora: 500. This is just the in-game money, so that wasn’t a problem.
I gathered all the materials, handed them over, and boom! He started hammering away. A few seconds later, there it was, my very own Prototype Amber. It wasn’t glowing like in some pictures, kind of plain looking, to be honest. But hey, it’s what it does that counts, right?
So, I equipped it on my healer, and it seemed pretty decent. It boosts health, which is always good for a healer. But the real magic, I think, is in its special ability. It helps regenerate energy after you use an Elemental Burst, and it even heals the whole party a little bit. I haven’t tested it out in any really tough fights yet, but for now, I’m pretty happy with it. It’s certainly better than what my healer had before.
Anyway, that’s my little adventure with the Prototype Amber. If you’re playing Genshin Impact and need a good catalyst for your healer, you might want to give this one a shot. Just be prepared to put in some work to get it.
