Alright, so I was messing around with my Trailblazer build in Honkai: Star Rail, trying to figure out the best Light Cone for the Harmony path. You know, just casually optimizing, as one does.
I started off by checking out some guides and stuff online. Most of them were pointing towards this 5-star Light Cone called “Past Self in the Mirror.” Sounds fancy, right? Apparently, it’s the top-tier option for Harmony Trailblazer, boosting Break Effect and a bunch of other stats.
So, naturally, I got curious and decided to test it out myself. I mean, who wouldn’t want a shiny 5-star Light Cone, right? I equipped “Past Self in the Mirror” on my Trailblazer and started running some simulations and some tests like I usually do. I had to see if this thing lived up to the hype.
First off, the Break Effect increase was noticeable. My Trailblazer was shredding through enemy shields like butter. It felt pretty good, not gonna lie.
But here’s the thing, I also tried out some other Light Cones, you know, just to compare. I tested some 4-star options, and even a couple of 3-star ones, just for kicks. And honestly, the difference wasn’t as huge as I expected. Sure, “Past Self in the Mirror” was good, but some of the other options held their own pretty well, especially considering they’re way easier to get.
