So, the other day, I was messing around, trying to figure out this whole “bam vs rockets” thing. It all started when I got this new project, and I needed to see which team was playing when and where. I’m not much of a basketball guru, but you know, gotta get the job done.

First, I tried to check the Houston Rockets schedule. I needed to know their game times and who they were playing against. That’s where I found out that they had a game on Thursday, October 31st. Game time was 8:30 PM EDT, which is 7:30 PM for us in the Central Time Zone. That was a start, but I needed more.
Then, I stumbled upon this piece of info saying the game was at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The Mavericks, that’s the other team, had a record of 3-1 at that point. My Rockets were 2-2. Okay, getting somewhere. But I still needed to know where to watch it.
I dug a bit deeper and found another nugget – the game was on Sunday, March 31st, at 7:00 PM ET. That was in Houston. It seemed like there was some conflicting info with dates, but hey, I wasn’t planning a party, just needed the general idea.
I also noticed something about MLK Day in 2025. Apparently, there were gonna be basketball games, and some media outlet called “The Sporting News” had the details on how to watch them. They even mentioned stuff like NBA TV and streaming, but I didn’t really care about that at the time. I just needed the basic game schedule.
So, what did I do with all this? Well, I made a simple list:

- Game 1: Rockets vs. Mavericks
- Date: Thursday, October 31st
- Time: 8:30 PM EDT (7:30 PM CST)
- Location: American Airlines Center, Dallas, Texas
- Game 2: Rockets vs. Mavericks
- Date: Sunday, March 31st
- Time: 7:00 PM ET
- Location: Houston
It wasn’t perfect, and the dates seemed a bit off, but it gave me a rough idea of what was going on. In the end, I got what I needed, and that’s what mattered. It wasn’t rocket science, just a bit of digging around. Sometimes, you just gotta roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty, you know? It’s all part of the job, I guess.
