Okay, so, I gotta tell you about this little project I’ve been messing with. It all started when I was watching the 76ers play the Lakers. Yeah, I know, another basketball game, but this one got me thinking. I wanted to do a deep dive into the player stats from that match.

First things first, I started hunting for the data. It was a bit of a dig, but I finally struck gold. I got my hands on the box score from their game on November 8th. It was a pretty standard output – you know, the usual points, rebounds, assists, and all that jazz.
Once I had the data, I started organizing it. I pulled up my trusty spreadsheet – don’t judge, it gets the job done. Then, player by player, I began inputting the stats. It was a bit tedious, yeah, but seeing it all come together? Super satisfying.
- LeBron James: Dude’s a legend, no surprise there.
- Anthony Davis: Another powerhouse for the Lakers.
- Joel Embiid: The guy is a beast for the 76ers, seriously.
And you know what’s crazy? I found out the Lakers actually beat the 76ers in that game, 116-106. I mean, I watched it, but seeing the numbers all laid out like that, it hits different. The stats were telling a story, and I was all here for it.
It also got me thinking about the bigger picture. I mean, you can see the strengths and weaknesses of each team just from these numbers. I started getting into the game dynamics from those stats, just trying to figure out how these teams really stack up against each other. And I even found out that they met on March 22nd. This made me want to find their game data from that time and compare them.
So yeah, that’s my little adventure with the 76ers vs. Lakers player stats. It might sound a bit dry to some, but for me, it was like piecing together a puzzle. Plus, it gave me a whole new appreciation for the game. Who knew numbers could be so interesting, right?

Anyway, just wanted to share that with y’all. It’s nothing groundbreaking, but it was a fun little project for me. And hey, maybe it’ll inspire some of you to take a closer look at the stats next time you watch a game. You might be surprised at what you find.
It is just a simple record but I have had fun from it.
