Alright, so I’ve been grinding in Destiny 2, trying to get my hands on that sweet Astral Horizon shotgun. Man, it’s been a journey, let me tell you.
Trying My Luck at Trials
First off, I jumped into the Trials of Osiris. Figured that was the most obvious place to start, right? I teamed up with a couple of buddies, and we started bashing some heads. We actually did pretty well, got a few wins under our belts.
- First Few Matches: Felt good, got some wins, but no Astral Horizon.
- Later Rounds: Started facing some tough teams. You know, those guys who seem to never miss a shot? Yeah, them.
The Grind Continues
After a few rounds, no luck. Not a single Astral Horizon dropped for me. I was starting to think maybe it was just a myth, a legend whispered in the Tower. But I’m not one to give up easily. I kept at it, playing match after match. I switched up my strategies, tried different subclasses, even changed my lucky socks. Still nothing.
The Adept Version
Then I remembered, there’s the Adept version! Even harder to get, but I’m stubborn, you know? So I pushed my team even harder. We started aiming for flawless runs, those perfect seven-win streaks.
- Flawless Attempts: Man, these were intense. So close so many times, only to be crushed at the last hurdle.
- Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: We really had to coordinate, call out everything, play like a well-oiled machine.
Finally, Success!
And then, it happened. After countless matches, endless frustration, and a whole lot of sweat, it finally dropped. Not the Adept version, unfortunately, but a regular Astral Horizon with a pretty decent roll. I was ecstatic! I immediately started testing it out, tweaking my mods, seeing how it felt.
- Got the Gun! Not Adept, but still awesome.
- Testing Time: Felt great in PVE, still trying to master it in PVP.
- Further improvements: Even though i got a decent roll, I still want to try and get a better one.
It wasn’t the god roll I was dreaming of, but it was a start. And you know what? The journey was part of the fun. The thrill of the chase, the camaraderie with my fireteam, the sweet, sweet taste of victory, even if it was just a small one. Now, back to the grind. That Adept version isn’t gonna catch itself, right?
The grind never ends but i’ll continue to try get a better one!
