Okay, so I’ve been a huge WWE fan since I was a kid, and Raw was coming to Portland. I had to go. It was non-negotiable. I started by checking the WWE website like a hawk. Refresh, refresh, refresh… finally, the tickets went on sale!

Scoring the Tickets
I jumped onto Ticketmaster immediately. You know how it is – those good seats disappear fast. I was aiming for something close enough to see the sweat flying, but not so close that I’d need a second mortgage. After a bit of a scramble (and some serious clicking!), I managed to snag a couple of seats in the lower bowl. Not ringside, but a pretty decent view, I figured.
The Day of the Show
I was buzzing all day. I even dug out my old Stone Cold Steve Austin t-shirt (don’t judge!). Getting to the venue, the Moda Center, was easy. I chose public transport this time, which really helps avoid any crazy traffic.
The atmosphere outside the arena was electric. Everyone was hyped. Tons of people in wrestling shirts, chanting, and just generally pumped for the show. I grabbed a hot dog (a must-have at these things, right?) and soaked it all in.
Inside the Moda Center
- The Energy: As soon as I walked in, the energy hit me like a piledriver. The lights, the music, the crowd roaring…it’s just something you have to experience.
- The Matches: The matches were awesome. I won’t spoil anything, but there were some serious surprises, some high-flying action, and a few moments that made me jump out of my seat.
- The Crowd: The Portland crowd was loud. We were chanting, cheering, booing…the whole nine yards. It’s like everyone there was just as into it as I was.
Getting Home
After all match finished,I felt so excited that night.

I took the MAX, Portland’s light rail to go back home.
I will keep my ticket as a souvenir of this unforgettable night, and I already start to plan my next trip to Seattle for another WWE show!
