Okay, so today I decided to tackle something called “made metal money.” I’d heard about it, seen it floating around online, but never actually tried it myself. Sounded kinda cool, like a little crafting project. I’m not usually a “crafty” person, but hey, gotta try new things, right?
First thing I did was try to figure out what the heck this even was. Turns out, “made metal money” it is a crossword puzzle.
I searched online for clues and hints, because I’m a crossword beginner, and a little help at start won’t hurt.
Digging In: The Process
I started by searching the answers online to the crossword puzzle and began to fill in the blanks.
Here is how I tackle them:
- Start with the easy answer: Find the easy answers I know immediately.
- Use the crossing letters: Fill in some answers, and use those letters to figure out the crossing words.
- If all fails, use the internet: Look up the answers online if I don’t know, and no shame in that.
Honestly, It’s pretty satisfying filling them out, it’s like putting together a simple puzzle. The whole thing was easier than I expected, which is a nice change of pace.
So, yeah, that’s my “made metal money” experience. Not exactly life-changing, but a fun little way to spend an afternoon. Might try another crossword again sometime. Who knows, maybe I’ll get really into it.
