Okay, so I’ve been digging into this “Coleman Hawkins Basketball” thing today, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a rabbit hole. Here’s how it all went down.

I first stumbled upon it when I was, you know, just browsing around, looking for some old-school jazz stuff. I’m a big fan of the classics. I saw “Coleman Hawkins” and thought, “Hey, I know that name! The legendary tenor sax player.” But then “basketball” was right there next to it. My brain kinda did a double-take.

So, after all that digging and clicking, I finally put the pieces * turns out the term is a way to compare and contrast two of the most important figures in their respective fields: Coleman Hawkins in jazz and George Mikan in basketball.
