Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this “Tidal Heritage” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster. I started totally blind, just the name to go on, and I figured, “Hey, sounds cool, let’s dive in!”

Getting My Feet Wet
First, I tried to get a feel for what it even was. I poked around, trying to find some basic info. It was all pretty vague at the start, lots of flowery language but not much substance. I felt like I was wading through mud.
Building Things Up
Then came the building phase. I started small, just trying to get the basic framework in place. Think of it like laying the foundation of a house, except I didn’t have any blueprints. It was a lot of trial and error. I put together some basic components, tested them, and inevitably, most of them crashed and burned.
- Tried one approach, total failure.
- Tried another, slightly less of a failure.
- Kept tweaking and tinkering.
I spent hours just trying to get the simplest things to work. It felt like one step forward, two steps back, you know? But I kept at it, because that’s just how I roll.
The “Aha!” Moment
Finally, after a lot of messing around, I started to see some progress. Things clicked into place. It was like the clouds parted, and I could finally see what I was doing. I connected this piece to that piece, adjusted a few settings, and BAM! It worked! I actually cheered out loud, I was so pumped.
The Final Product (Sort Of)
So, where am I now? Well, I’ve got something that’s working, something I can actually show off. It’s not perfect, far from it. There are still some rough edges, and plenty of room for improvement. But it’s a start. I created something from nothing, and that’s pretty satisfying.

It is a fully functional demo, and this whole process taught me a ton. It showed me the importance of just sticking with it, even when things get tough. And it reminded me that even the most frustrating projects can be rewarding in the end.
Next,I will go on to polish this thing up.
