Okay, so I stumbled upon this “Lance Luchnick” thing and decided to give it a whirl. Honestly, I didn’t really know what to expect, but I’m always up for trying new stuff.

First, I googled it. You know, just to get a basic idea. Seemed like some kind of… well, I wasn’t entirely sure. Some of the results were about a person, others looked like… abstract art? It was confusing.
I decided to focus on the stuff that looked like images. I figured I’d try to, like, recreate one of them. I mean, how hard could it be, right?
My “Artistic” Process
- Gathered my materials. This was pretty simple: just some paper and colored pencils. I thought about using crayons, but then I remembered I’m not five years old anymore.
- Picked a reference image. I chose one that looked kinda like a… swirl? With some… blobs? It’s hard to describe, okay? It was colorful, at least.
- Started drawing. Okay, this is where things got interesting. I tried to copy the shapes and colors, but it just… didn’t look right. My swirl was more of a squiggle, and my blobs were… well, they were blobby, I guess.
- Got frustrated. Yeah, I’m not gonna lie, I started to feel a little silly. Here I was, a grown adult, struggling to draw a… thing.
- Embraced the mess.I realized that precision maybe isn’t the important thing. I added more colors and used different * became a fun experiment.
- Took a step back. I looked at my “creation.” It was… definitely not a masterpiece. But it was… something. It was colorful and… abstract. And you know what? It was kind of fun to make.
So, yeah, that’s my Lance Luchnick experience. I still don’t really know what it is, but I guess I made some “art.” Or at least, I made a colorful mess on a piece of paper. Would I do it again? Maybe. It was a good way to kill some time, and hey, who knows, maybe I’ll accidentally create the next big thing in abstract art.
