Okay, here’s my take on the “matt rhule texas a&m” topic, written in the style of a personal blog post:

So, I’ve been seeing a lot of chatter online about Matt Rhule and whether he could end up at Texas A&M. It’s mostly just speculation, but it got me thinking, so I started digging around to see what’s what.
First, I checked out Rhule’s current situation. He’s at Nebraska, right? I remembered that he had a pretty rough start there, but things might be turning around. I went to some sports news sites – you know, the usual suspects – and saw that, yeah, Nebraska’s been doing a bit better lately.
Why the Texas A&M Rumors?
- Well, A&M fired Jimbo Fisher, so there’s a big, juicy vacancy there. It’s a high-profile job with tons of resources.
- Rhule has a history of turning programs around. He did it at Temple and Baylor. People see that and think, “Maybe he can do it again at A&M.”
I started looking at some forums and message boards (yeah, I know, not always the best source, but you can get a sense of what fans are thinking). There’s a lot of mixed opinions. Some Aggies fans are all for it, saying Rhule’s a proven program builder. Others are super skeptical, pointing to his NFL struggles with the Carolina Panthers.
I personally was on twitter and I noticed some fans were very vocal.
Then I tried to find some actual reporting on it. Most of what I found was just speculation, like, “Could Rhule be a candidate?” type stuff. Nothing concrete. No “sources say” or anything like that. It felt pretty flimsy, honestly.

I thought about Rhule’s contract at Nebraska. I figured he probably has a pretty hefty buyout, which could be a hurdle for A&M. I didn’t dive too deep into the contract details, but it’s definitely a factor.
In the end, I came away thinking this is mostly just smoke and mirrors. It’s fun to speculate, but I don’t see any real evidence that Rhule to A&M is a serious possibility right now. It’s more likely that A&M will look at some other candidates first, and maybe Rhule’s name will come up if those options don’t pan out.
But hey, who knows? College football is crazy. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on this to see if anything actually develops. If I learn that anything new I will let you know.
