Next, I started messing with combining words. This is where it got really interesting. I’d take, say, “Moon” and “Shadow” and try to smoosh them together in different ways. “Moonshadow”? Too obvious. “Shadowmoon”? Maybe. “Shadomoon”? Nah. It’s all about how it sounds when you say it out loud.
I also experimented with adding little suffixes, like “-wind,” “-song,” or “-weaver.” These can really change the feel of a name. “Willow” is just a tree, but “Willowind” sounds like a gentle breeze, right?
Final Result
It took a while, and a lot of scribbling on paper, but I finally landed on a name I really liked: “Echostar”. I imagined a space that reflected my voice in different ways.
