Okay, so I’ve been seeing a lot of chatter online about the Bills and their Super Bowl wins…or lack thereof. I decided to do my own digging, just to get the facts straight, and man, was it a trip down memory lane!
First, I fired up my trusty old computer. I started with a simple search, nothing fancy, just “Buffalo Bills Super Bowl appearances”. The results popped up instantly, lots of articles and lists.
Then, I went through several sports websites. I wanted to find a list of every Super Bowl the Bills played in, regardless of winning or losing. I found several, and they all pretty much said the same thing. They all had the same 4 games.
- Super Bowl XXV (1991): Bills vs. New York Giants
- Super Bowl XXVI (1992): Bills vs. Washington Redskins
- Super Bowl XXVII (1993): Bills vs. Dallas Cowboys
- Super Bowl XXVIII (1994): Bills vs. Dallas Cowboys
I double-checked a few more sites, just to be sure. The information matched across the board.
So, after all this digging, what did I discover? Well, it’s pretty clear. The Bills appeared in four Super Bowls, four years in a row! But, and this is a big BUT, they, unfortunately, lost all *’s a tough pill to swallow. They played, but didn’t win any.
