Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Squad Busters lately, and let me tell you, figuring out who’s good and who’s… well, not so good, has been a real journey. I decided to create my very own tier list, you know, to keep track of my findings and maybe help some folks out along the way.

First, I just started playing, trying out all the characters, getting my butt kicked, winning some, the usual. I quickly realized that not all Busters are created equal. Some, like the Barbarian King, felt super strong right off the bat. Others, like the Chicken, well, let’s just say I needed a lot more practice (and luck) to make them work.
Trial and Error (Lots of Error)
So, I started taking notes. I grabbed a piece of paper and just started listing out characters, scribbling down my thoughts after each match. Was Colt consistently melting enemies? Yep, top tier. Was Greg struggling to keep up? Probably needs a buff, down to the lower tiers. It was messy, it was chaotic, but it was a start.
Then I thought, “There’s gotta be a better way to do this!” So I looked around, and most tier lists are pretty much the same, I want to do some pratice to make my own tier list.
- S-Tier: These are the characters I found myself winning with consistently. The ones that just felt powerful, you know? Like, I could pick them and feel confident.
- A-Tier: Still really good, but maybe needed a bit more support from the team, or had a slightly higher skill cap.
- B-Tier: Okay, these guys are decent. They can work, but you gotta play them right, and maybe they’re a bit more situational.
- C-Tier: Oof, these are the ones I struggled with. Maybe they need a buff, or maybe I just haven’t figured them out yet.
- D-Tier: Yeah, I’m just not feeling these guys at all. I actively avoided picking them, if I could.
I played a ton of matches, swapping characters in and out, trying different combinations. I watched what other players were doing, seeing which Busters were dominating the battlefield. It was a grind, honestly, but I slowly started to see patterns emerge.
My list is by no means definitive. It’s just my experience, my opinion. The game changes, characters get adjusted, and what works for me might not work for you. But hey, that’s part of the fun, right? Figuring it all out, experimenting, and finding what clicks.
