Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Marvel Snap lately, like really deep. I needed a way to keep track of which cards were crushing it and which ones were, well, collecting dust in my collection. So, I decided to build my own tier list. It’s nothing fancy, but it helps me strategize.

First, I just started playing a ton of matches. I mean, hours and hours. I wanted to get a good feel for every card I had, trying out different combinations and decks. You gotta get your hands dirty, you know?
Then, I started jotting down notes. Simple stuff at first. Like, “Wolverine is pretty solid” or “Multiple Man is a pain to deal with if you don’t have the right counter.” Just my gut reactions after each game.
Putting things into categories.
After a while, I had a messy pile of observations. I needed to organize it! So, I created some basic tiers:
- S-Tier: These are the cards that just win games. The real powerhouses.
- A-Tier: Super strong, reliable cards that form the backbone of many good decks.
- B-Tier: Decent cards, good in certain situations, but maybe not always the best choice.
- C-Tier: These are more niche. They can work, but they need very specific decks or situations.
- D-Tier: Honestly, I rarely use these. Maybe they have some super secret hidden potential, but I haven’t found it yet.
I started placing cards into these categories. This was the hardest part! It’s all so subjective, you know? What works for me might not work for you. I moved cards around a LOT. One day I’d think a card was amazing, the next day I’d be cursing its name.
I also looked at some popular tier lists, just to get a second opinion. But didn’t copy them, though it is tempting. I wanted this to be my list, based on my experience. I’d compare their placements with mine and think, “Okay, why do they rate this card so high? Am I missing something?”

It’s a work in progress, It’s never truly “finished”. New cards come out, the meta shifts, and I discover new strategies. I still make adjustments. I’m always tweaking and refining.
In short, it is all about putting in the time, paying attention, and not being afraid to experiment. That’s how I built my Marvel Snap card tier list.
