Okay, so I was watching the game last night, and the intro song for Sunday Night Football came on. It’s super catchy, right? But I realized I had NO idea who actually sang it. Like, I’ve heard it a million times, but I was totally blanking.
So, first thing I did was grab my phone, mid-game, of course. I figured it wouldn’t take long to find an answer and went straight to the search bar.
I typed in “who sings sunday night football song,” super simple, nothing fancy. Boom, a bunch of results popped up.

I clicked on one of the articles, and yep, it confirmed what I was starting to suspect. It’s Carrie Underwood. I should have known that! She’s got such a powerful voice, it totally fits the vibe of the show.
Then I started scrolling through the search, find more information.
I then did another search to be super sure, “Sunday Night Football singer 2023.” Just to double-check, you know? And yeah, same answer. Carrie Underwood.
So, mystery solved! It felt good to finally put a name (and a face) to that song. Now I can enjoy the intro even more, knowing it’s Carrie belting it out. I thought maybe it had changed recently, or maybe it was some group I’d never heard of. Nope. It’s been Carrie Underwood for a while, it turns out!
