Well, I heard somethin’ ’bout this young feller, Rasheen Ali, that plays for them Baltimore Ravens. Ain’t no easy life in them big leagues, I tell ya. Now, this young man, he’s been goin’ through a lot with his injuries lately. First, it was his neck, then a bicep injury, and now he’s got himself an ankle issue too. Poor thing. He’s just tryin’ to make his mark, but all these injuries sure ain’t helpin’ him none.
You see, Rasheen, he’s a rookie, came from that Marshall university—never thought a boy from there would make it this far. Ain’t it somethin’ though? I reckon he’s got some good runs in him, but every time he starts to show what he got, somethin’ happens. Now, the coach, John Harbaugh, he was talkin’ ’bout Rasheen’s progress the other day, and from what I gather, it ain’t been easy. He had to miss a whole bunch of games because of that ankle, and he was even listed as “out” for the Monday game against them Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Ain’t nobody likes sittin’ on the sidelines, I tell ya that.
But let’s talk a bit more about this injury business. Rasheen, poor feller, he hurt his ankle—well, ain’t no wonder he can’t play. He’s been limited in practice too, just like how he was with that neck injury back in September. Neck injuries, ankle injuries, bicep injuries—what a mess! These young fellers are tryin’ to go all out, but their bodies just can’t keep up. Seems like it’s just one thing after another with him.
He got put on the injured reserve for that neck injury earlier in the season, and they say he wasn’t able to practice much after that. And now with this ankle injury, it looks like he’s missin’ even more time. Ain’t that just the way with these athletes? When you got it, you gotta keep goin’, but sometimes your body just don’t wanna cooperate.
Now, I gotta say, I do hope he gets himself right. I hear good things ’bout him, and folks around Cleveland sayin’ he’s got a good head on his shoulders. But if he don’t stay healthy, well, he ain’t gonna get no chances to show what he can really do. That’s just how it goes in them leagues. You gotta be able to play, or else they’ll find someone else who can.
I reckon he’s gonna keep pushin’, though. Rasheen Ali’s a fighter, that’s for sure. He’ll have to get that ankle healed up right, and with a little luck, he’ll be back on that field runnin’ circles ’round them defenders. But until then, we just gotta wait and see how things go. Injuries sure do take their toll, but I’m hopin’ he pulls through it. It’s a tough world out there for these young fellers, but if anyone’s got the heart to make it, I’d say it’s Rasheen.
We’ll see how things unfold, but as of now, that ankle’s keepin’ him out of the game. Hopefully, he’ll get back to his old self soon enough. Injuries can be a hard thing to bounce back from, but with the right care and some good ol’ fashioned grit, I reckon he can do it.
