Alright, so today I wanna yap about a fantasy football dilemma I was facing: Derrick Henry or Kyren Williams? Been messing around with this for a while now.

First off, I started by looking at the basics. You know, like who’s even available? In my league, both Henry and Williams were on the board, surprisingly. Last season I totally missed out on Williams, didn’t want to repeat that mistake. So, I started digging.
I spent a good chunk of time just scrolling through player stats. I mean, really diving in. Checking their rushing yards, touchdowns, how many carries they get per game, all that jazz. Henry’s got that history, right? Years of just dominating. But Williams, he popped off last year when he was healthy. That was the big ‘IF’ hanging over him.
Then, I watched some game highlights. Just to get a feel for how they actually look on the field. Henry’s still a beast, no doubt. Runs through dudes like they’re not even there. Williams, though, he’s got that burst of speed and seems to find the holes really well. Plus, he catches passes out of the backfield, which is a huge bonus in PPR leagues.
Next up, I went down the rabbit hole of expert opinions. I was reading articles, listening to podcasts, watching those fantasy football shows on ESPN. Everyone had their own take, of course. Some were all about Henry’s proven track record, others were hyping up Williams’ potential for a breakout season. Maurice Jones-Drew seems to like Williams, which is cool.
I also considered the offenses they play in. Henry’s on a new team, the Ravens. How would he fit in there? Would they give him the same workload he had in Tennessee? Williams is with the Rams, and when he’s healthy, they seem to want to feature him heavily. McVay likes feeding him the ball. That’s a plus.

Injury history was a big factor too. Henry’s been pretty durable over the years, but he’s also getting older. Williams had that injury last year that kept him out for a while. That’s always in the back of your mind. Can’t have your RB1 on the bench.
After all that, I made my decision: I went with Kyren Williams. I know, it’s a bit of a risk. But I like his upside. I think he’s got the potential to be a top-5 running back this year if he stays healthy. Plus, those receptions are gold in my league.
Now, the real work begins: praying he stays healthy. Fantasy football, man. It’s a wild ride.
