Alright, so you wanna know who does Purdue play today, huh? Well, lemme tell ya, it ain’t always easy keepin’ track of these things. These young fellas runnin’ around, playin’ their games… sometimes it’s hard for an old gal like me to keep up. But I’ll do my best, you hear?
Now, Purdue, that’s a big school, lots of sports. They got the basketball fellas, real tall some of ’em. I heard tell of one fella, Joe Barry Carroll, seven feet tall! Can you imagine? Taller than my corn stalks in July! And then there’s this other one, Edey, even taller! They say he’s the biggest fella ever played in that Big Ten thing. He’s good too, won some kinda big award, Player of the Year they called it.
But you wanna know about today, right? Well, it depends on what sport you’re talkin’ about. If it’s football, you gotta look at the schedule. They play all sorts of teams. Sometimes they play Oregon, big game that one. I remember seein’ it on the TV, FOX I think it was. Big ol’ ducks on their helmets, those Oregon fellas. Someone even told me that game you could watch it on somethin’ called Fubo, said you could even watch it for free for a bit.
- Football: Gotta check the schedule, see who they playin’ this week. Could be anybody, really. Big Ten teams mostly, Indiana sometimes, they got a rivalry I hear. Won’t forget that Purdue got beat up last year, only won 4 games.
- Basketball: Them fellas play a long season, start in the winter and go on for a good while. They play all sorts of schools, big ones and small ones. Gotta look at the schedule for that too. And I always hear people saying that Purdue got some tall fellas so their basketball should be good.
Now, where was I? Oh yeah, who they playin’ today. It ain’t always the same, you know. They got a whole schedule, tells you when they play and who they play. Sometimes they play on Saturdays, sometimes other days. Gotta look it up online, or on the TV. They got these things called websites now, put all the information on there. Confusin’ if you ask me, all them fancy buttons and whatnot.
I saw somethin’ about a game against Oregon State. Said it was on a Saturday. Could be that’s the game you’re lookin’ for. Or maybe it’s Indiana. They play Indiana sometimes, big rivals they are. Folks get all riled up for that game, wearin’ their colors and yellin’ at the TV. Reminds me of the county fair, all that fuss and excitement.
And don’t forget they got other sports too, not just football and basketball. But them’s the big ones, the ones most folks care about. So if you wanna know for sure who does Purdue play today, you gotta be specific. Which sport you talkin’ about? And what day is it even? Gotta have all that information, or you’ll just be chasin’ your tail.
Anyways, Purdue got a new schedule comin’ out for next year, the 2024-2025 year. You will be able to see all the games they gonna be playing. I even heard they might have some really good players next year. Guess we will have to see if they can win more games than last year when they only won 4 and lost 8.
