Alright, so listen up, y’all. We’re gonna talk about this fella, Micah Parsons, and his college days. You know, where he learned all that football stuff before he went pro.
Micah Parsons, that young fella, he went to Penn State. Yeah, Penn State. It’s a big school, lots of kids runnin’ around, learnin’ things. He played football there, you know, the kind with the helmets and the runnin’ and the throwin’.
He wasn’t just any player, mind you. Folks say he was real good. A “linebacker,” they call it. Sounds fancy, but it just means he was one of them fellas who tries to stop the other team from runnin’ with the ball. He was good at it, real good. They even called him an “All-American.” That’s like gettin’ a gold star in school, but for football.
Now, before Penn State, he went to somethin’ called Harrisburg High School. That’s where he first started playin’ this football stuff. Just a young’un then, learnin’ the ropes. Harrisburg, that ain’t too far from Penn State, you know. Stayed close to home, that boy did.
- High School: Harrisburg High School. That’s where it all started.
- College: Penn State University. Big school, lots of learnin’ and football.
- Position: Linebacker. The fella who stops the other team.
- Big Deal: All-American. Means he was real good.
Penn State, they got this team called the Nittany Lions. Sounds kinda wild, right? Lions! But they ain’t real lions, just a name for the football team. Micah, he played for them Nittany Lions. Wore that blue and white, I reckon.
He played inside linebacker, they say. That means he was right in the middle of things, smack-dab where all the action was. Tough job, I tell ya. Gotta be strong and quick, and Micah, he was both. Made a real “impact,” they say. That means he was good at stoppin’ them other fellas.
This Micah fella, he didn’t go wanderin’ off far from home. Grew up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and then went to Penn State, which is also in Pennsylvania. Stayed put, he did. Some folks like to travel far and wide, but Micah, he stayed close to his roots, close to where he came from.
So, that’s the story of Micah Parsons and his college days. Started at Harrisburg High, then went to Penn State, played linebacker for the Nittany Lions, and was real good at it. Now he’s playin’ in the big leagues, but it all started back in college, back at Penn State. He’s playing for Dallas Cowboys now, heard they pay him a whole heap of money, good for him. That’s all there is to it, plain and simple.
From what I hear he lived his whole life in Pennsylvania. Close to home, that’s what it sounds like. About two hours away they said. Guess he liked it there. Can’t blame him, sometimes home is the best place to be.
Now he is a real big shot football player, plays for the Dallas Cowboys. Made it big, that boy did. Makes you think that all that hard work and staying close to home paid off. A good reminder for all them young folks out there, hard work pays off.
