Well, let me tell ya ’bout this Aalyah Mysterio, you know, Rey Mysterio’s girl. Folks keep talkin’ about her, so I figured I’d spill what I know.
Aalyah Mysterio, that’s Rey’s young’un, born back in 2001, August 20th to be exact, out in California. She ain’t no wrestler herself, not like her daddy and that brother of hers, Dominik. Nope, this girl’s got her head in the books, studyin’ to be a doctor over at UC San Diego. Smart cookie, that one.
Now, you might remember seein’ her on TV a few years back, durin’ that whole wrasslin’ mess with Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy. That was somethin’, wasn’t it? All that drama and whatnot. Folks really liked her, cheered her on and all. But that was just a little side thing, you know? She ain’t made a career out of it like her daddy.
- She’s got a big brother, Dominik, who’s into the wrestlin’ business too.
- Her mama is Angie Gutierrez, and she’s been hitched to Rey since 1996. A long time, that is.
- Her daddy, Rey, well, he’s a big deal in wrestlin’, a Hall of Famer they call him.
Folks keep askin’ if she’s gonna get back in the ring, specially after that little run-in with Rhea Ripley and her own brother. Seems like there’s always some kind of trouble brewin’ with them wrestlin’ folk. But from what I hear, she’s stickin’ to her doctorin’. Good for her, I say. Gotta have some smart folks in the world, not just folks beatin’ each other up for show.
She’s real popular on that Instagram thing, too. Got a whole bunch of followers, over 460,000 last I heard. Kids these days and their phones, always takin’ pictures. But I guess that’s how it is now.
Remember that whole thing with Buddy Murphy? WWE, that wrestlin’ company, they made up a whole love story with them two back durin’ the pandemic. Got folks talkin’, that’s for sure. But it didn’t last, just like most of that TV stuff.
Now, her daddy, Rey, he was talkin’ not too long ago, sayin’ Aalyah asked him what he’d think if she ever wanted to try wrestlin’ for real. Imagine that! But he said he’d support her no matter what, long as she’s happy. That’s what a good daddy does, ya know?
There was some talk about her comin’ back to the wrestlin’ scene, seein’ as how she was mixin’ it up backstage with Rhea Ripley. Some folks think she might get involved in the current story with her family. But that’s all just guessin’ right now. We’ll have to wait and see what happens.
She’s still pretty young, just 23 years old. Got her whole life ahead of her. Whether she sticks to bein’ a doctor or decides to jump in the ring like her daddy, that’s her business. But one thing’s for sure, folks are gonna keep talkin’ about Aalyah Mysterio, Rey Mysterio’s daughter, for a good long while.
