Well now, let me tell ya ‘bout this woman named Pam Tebow. She ain’t no ordinary lady, I’ll tell ya that much. She done been through a lot in her life, and if you ask me, she’s one tough cookie. Pam, she’s the kind of woman who done spent many years in the Philippines with her husband, Bob, and their young’uns, workin’ as missionaries. You know, preachin’ the good word and doin’ the Lord’s work. That’s somethin’ to be proud of, ain’t it?
They lived over there in the Philippines for a good long time, spreadin’ their faith, helpin’ folks, and livin’ out the good ol’ Christian values. Now, I don’t know much about missionary work myself, but I sure respect folks who put their lives on the line to help others. Pam and Bob, they was real busy raising their kids while they was out there. Can’t imagine raisin’ five children in a place so far from home, but they made it work. That’s somethin’ special, I reckon.
Now, you might’ve heard of her son, Tim Tebow. Yes sir, he’s the one who made it big playin’ football and baseball. But before all that glory, Tim was just a little fella, born in Manila, Philippines, back on August 14, 1987. Pam gave birth to him right there in that faraway land. Can you imagine that? Not many people can say they had their child born on the other side of the world.
But as life goes, the Tebows didn’t stay in the Philippines forever. When Tim was just three years old, they packed up and moved on over to Jacksonville, Florida. Must’ve been a big change for them, leavin’ behind all them memories and startin’ a new chapter in life. But that’s how life goes sometimes. You gotta keep movin’ forward, don’t ya?
Now, Pam ain’t just known for raisin’ kids and bein’ a good missionary lady. She’s also known for standin’ up for what she believes in, especially when it comes to her views on abortion. You might’ve heard how Pam and her family have been real vocal about their anti-abortion stance. It’s somethin’ that’s real important to them, and they’ve been usin’ their story to spread that message. Can’t say I blame ‘em. Everyone’s got a right to stand up for what they believe, and Pam sure don’t shy away from doin’ just that.
She’s also been a big influence on Tim, I reckon. Tim, he’s not just a famous athlete, but also a man who stands by his faith and his values, and a lot of that comes from the way he was raised. Pam’s the kind of mama that makes sure her kids know right from wrong, and she don’t just talk about it, she walks the walk. Now, that’s somethin’ to admire, for sure.
At 70 years old now, Pam ain’t slowin’ down none. She’s still active, still standin’ by her family, and still keepin’ her faith strong. She and Bob, they’ve been together since 1971. That’s over 50 years of marriage, can you believe it? That right there is an example of stickin’ together, no matter what life throws at ya. Some folks don’t even make it a year, let alone 50.
So, whether you know Pam as the mother of a famous athlete, a missionary, or a woman who speaks her mind on what she believes is right, one thing’s for sure: Pam Tebow’s life has been full of love, faith, and a whole lotta determination. She’s the kind of woman who makes you believe in family, in faith, and in doin’ what’s right. And if ya ask me, that’s somethin’ we could all stand to learn a little more about.
