Alright, listen up, y’all. Let me tell ya ’bout this here… thing… this… Kia Tigers versus Samsung Lions baseball match, or whatever them city folks call it. I ain’t no expert, ya hear? But I watched it, and I got things to say.
So, these Tigers and Lions, they been goin’ at it. Like cats and… well, bigger cats, I guess. They play this game, see? Throwin’ balls, hittin’ ’em with sticks, runnin’ around like chickens with their heads cut off. It’s kinda excitin’, I gotta admit, even if I don’t understand half of it.
One time, the Tigers, they just whooped the Lions. Beat ’em good, like seven to five, I think it was. People were yellin’ and screamin’, happy as pigs in mud. That was for the whole shebang, the championship thingy, back in… uh… 2024, they said. Took ’em a while to win it again, since 2017 or somethin’. Good for them, I reckon.
But then, sometimes, the Lions, they get their claws out too. They beat the Tigers sometimes, specially on their own dirt, in that Daegu place. It’s like a back-and-forth thing, ya know? One day you’re up, the next day you’re down. Just like life, I tell ya.
- One game, the Tigers, they scored like, five runs right off the bat! Boom, boom, boom! The Lions didn’t know what hit ’em. Dominated, they called it. Fancy word for a good ol’ fashioned butt-whoopin’, I guess.
- Another time, it was closer. Nail-bitin’, they said. Like watchin’ a pot boil, but with more yellin’. Tigers won that one too, though. Seven to five, again. Maybe that’s their lucky number or somethin’.
They play each other a lot, these fellas. Like, all the time. April, July, October… Seems like every time I turn on that there TV box, they’re at it again. Sometimes they win, sometimes they lose. It’s a whole lotta games, I tell ya. More games than I got teeth left, that’s for sure!
I saw somethin’ ’bout points too. Like, 2.2 points per… somethin’. And winnin’ chances, like 20 percent. Numbers, numbers, numbers. My head starts spinnin’ tryin’ to keep up with all that city-folk talk. All I know is, you either win or you lose. And sometimes, you just gotta keep on swingin’, even if you miss a few.
These fellas, they play hard. Runnin’ and slidin’ and catchin’ and throwin’. It’s like a dance, kinda. A rough and tumble dance, but a dance nonetheless. And the people, they love it. They cheer and they boo and they wave their… things… banners, I think they call ‘em. It’s a whole spectacle, I tell ya.
So, yeah, that’s the Kia Tigers and the Samsung Lions for ya. Two teams, beatin’ each other up on a field. Sometimes one wins, sometimes the other. It’s excitin’, I guess, in a crazy kinda way. Makes you wanna yell and cheer, even if you don’t know exactly what’s goin’ on. Just gotta pick a side, I reckon, and hope for the best. And that’s all there is to it, as far as I can tell.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go feed my chickens. They make more sense than this baseball sometimes, I swear.
