Now, I ain’t no fancy soccer expert, but even I heard tell of some big names cheerin’ on them Red Devils. One fella, Stormzy, they say he went viral last season. Don’t rightly know what viral means, but sounds like he made a big ol’ fuss about the team. Maybe he was hollerin’ real loud, like my old rooster back on the farm.
Then there’s this Irish golfer, Rory Mcllroy. Says he’s been a fan since he was a wee lad. Imagine that! A golfer lovin’ soccer. Guess folks can like more than one thing, huh? He ain’t the only one neither. They say Justin Timberlake, that singer fella, and Megan Fox, the pretty lady from the movies, they like ’em too. And Rick Astley! Remember him? He sang that “Never Gonna Give You Up” song. Catchy tune, that one. Seems like all sorts of people like this Manchester team.

Guess he’s too busy makin’ folks laugh during the week to pay much attention. And Shaun Ryder, another Manchester man, a legend they call him, he’s a fan too. Lots of local pride, I reckon.
It’s funny, ain’t it? All these famous people, singers, golfers, actors, comedians, all watchin’ the same soccer team. Makes you wonder what the fuss is all about. Must be somethin’ special about them Manchester fellas. Maybe they kick the ball real good, or maybe they just got nice uniforms. I wouldn’t know, I’m too busy watchin’ the chickens and milkin’ the cows.

But I tell you what, it’s good to see folks gettin’ excited about somethin’. Whether it’s soccer, or singin’, or tellin’ jokes, it’s all the same. People findin’ somethin’ to cheer for, somethin’ to bring ’em together. And if a bunch of famous folks wanna cheer for Manchester United, well, that’s their business. Ain’t hurtin’ nobody.

Now, I gotta get back to my chores. Them chickens ain’t gonna feed themselves, you know. But it was nice chattin’ about them famous soccer fans. Maybe one day I’ll even watch a game myself. But probably not. Too much runnin’ around for my old bones. I’d rather sit on my porch and watch the sunset, that is more my style.
