Alright, so you wanna know about this Bryce James fella, huh? LeBron’s kid, the younger one. Folks keep yappin’ about him, so I figured I’d dig around and tell ya what I found. Don’t expect no fancy talk, I’m just gonna lay it out plain and simple, like it is.
Now, this boy, Bryce, he’s still just a young’un. Born in 2007, which makes him, what, 17 years old? Yep, just a pup. He’s from Cleveland, that’s where LeBron played for a spell, you know. They say he’s about 6 foot 6 inches tall and weighs around 180 pounds. That’s a pretty good size for a basketball player, I reckon.
What kind of player is he? Well, from what I gather, he’s a shootin’ guard. That means he’s good at shootin’ the ball, I guess. Some folks say he’s got good size for his position and a pretty decent set of skills, especially when it comes to shootin’. He ain’t no super athlete, not like his daddy maybe, but he knows how to play the game, they say.
- Height: 6 foot 6 inches (that’s like, taller than my grandson Billy, and he’s already sproutin’ like a weed!)
- Weight: 180 pounds (skinny, but strong I bet, gotta be to play that basketball)
- Position: Shooting Guard (the one that shoots the ball, makes sense, right?)
They got these rankings for these young players, you know, like stars. Bryce, he’s got three stars from some folks, four stars from others. Sounds like he’s pretty good, but maybe not the best of the best, not yet anyway. ESPN, they give him four stars. On3, they say he’s a top 100 prospect in the 2025 class. That sounds pretty darn good to me. Another place, 247Sports, they got him ranked a bit lower, around 129 or 148, depends on where you look. So, he’s good, but maybe not superstar level, at least not right now.
What about his stats? Now, this is where it gets a bit tricky. The boy’s still young, so his numbers ain’t always easy to find, and they change a lot. Some games he does good, some games not so much. I heard tell he averaged somethin’ like 3.8 points a game when he was playin’ for Sierra Canyon, but he was splittin’ time between different teams then. At the Peach Jam tournament, he did a bit better, averaged around 5.6 points, but his shooting wasn’t so hot. And he got some rebounds, too, around 4.2 some say, 2.4 others say. He also gets a few steals and a block here and there. Sounds like he’s a hustler, always tryin’ to get the ball.
Here’s a little rundown of some numbers I heard, but don’t hold me to it, they change all the time:
- Points: Somewhere between 3.8 and 5.6 per game, depends on when and where he’s playing.
- Rebounds: Around 2.4 to 4.2, he likes to grab that ball, I guess.
- Assists: Not too many, less than one a game, maybe he likes to shoot more than pass!
- Steals: A little over one per game, sneaky little fella.
- Blocks: Barely any, not a big shot blocker, I reckon.
Is he better than his brother Bronny? That’s what folks are always askin’. Well, some say he’s taller and maybe a bit smarter on the court, but Bronny is the better prospect overall. It’s hard to say, they’re both young and still figuring things out. We’ll just have to wait and see how they both develop.
So, what’s the bottom line? Bryce James is a young basketball player with some potential. He’s got good size, can shoot the ball, and seems to be a hard worker. He’s not a superstar yet, but he’s still got time to grow and improve. Whether he makes it to the NBA, well, that’s anybody’s guess. But he’s definitely one to watch. He’s got the bloodlines, that’s for sure. LeBron’s kid, gotta have somethin’ special, right? We’ll just have to wait and see how it all plays out. Don’t put too much stock in all these numbers and rankings, just watch the boy play and see if he’s got the heart for it. That’s what really matters, I think.
And who is Bryce James’ girlfriend? Well, that’s none of my business, and it shouldn’t be yours either! Let the boy live his life. He’s got enough pressure on him without folks gossipin’ about his personal life. He’s just a kid, remember? Let him play basketball and grow up in peace. That’s what I say.
