Alright, so you wanna know about this “Cavs Loudville,” huh? I’ll tell ya, it ain’t nothin’ fancy, but it sure is somethin’ else. It’s where all the folks who love the Cavs but ain’t got a whole lotta money go to watch the games. You know, the regular people, the ones who work hard and cheer even harder.
They call it Loudville, and lemme tell ya, the name fits. It’s up high, way up in the nosebleeds, but you can still see the game pretty good. And the noise? Oh boy, the noise is somethin’ else. Everyone’s yellin’ and stompin’ their feet and clappin’ their hands. It’s like a big ol’ party up there, even if the Cavs are losin’. Which, thank the lord, hasn’t been happenin’ too much lately.
Now, I ain’t been to a game in a while, my knees ain’t what they used to be, but my grandson, he goes all the time. He says it’s the best place to be if you wanna feel the energy of the crowd. He says it’s cheap too, which is good ‘cause that boy ain’t got two nickels to rub together. He tells me those tickets, they call ‘em Loudville Seats, the cheapest ones you can get. But don’t let that fool ya, the view ain’t bad at all. You can see the whole court, and you’re right up there with all the other crazy fans.
- They say it’s been sold out for, what, 87 games straight? That’s a whole lotta people yellin’ their lungs out. Must be doin’ somethin’ right, those fellas on the court.
- And the folks up there, they ain’t shy. They’ll be yellin’ at the refs, yellin’ at the other team, yellin’ at their own players if they ain’t playin’ good. It’s all in good fun, though, you know? Just folks lettin’ off some steam and showin’ their support for the team.
My grandson showed me some pictures on his phone, them fancy phone cameras can see a mile away I tell ya. You could see the whole court, even from way up high. And the people, they were all smilin’ and laughin’ and havin’ a good time. He even showed me a video. I swear I could feel the ground shakin’ under my feet, and I was just sittin’ in my kitchen! That’s some loudville alright. He says it’s full of excitement and energy. Sounds like a good time to me.
They say it’s the 200 level, if you’re lookin’ on one of them fancy seat charts. But you don’t need no fancy chart to find Loudville. Just follow the noise! You’ll hear it from a mile away. And don’t be surprised if you see folks dressed up in all sorts of crazy Cavs gear. Hats, jerseys, face paint, you name it. People go all out for their team, especially up in Loudville.
Now, I ain’t gonna lie, it ain’t for everyone. If you want a quiet, peaceful night out, Loudville ain’t the place for you. But if you wanna feel the energy of the crowd, if you wanna be part of somethin’ special, then you gotta check it out. It’s a real experience, I tell ya. Somethin’ you won’t forget.
And it ain’t just basketball games neither. My grandson says they have concerts up there too. Can you imagine? All that music and all that energy, must be somethin’ else. I bet it gets even louder then! Though I don’t know how that’s possible, those young folks and their loud music these days.
So, if you’re ever in Cleveland and you wanna catch a Cavs game, or maybe a concert, don’t be afraid to head up to Loudville. It’s where the real fans are, the ones who bleed wine and gold, and the ones who make sure the whole arena knows it. You might not have the best seats in the house, but you’ll definitely have the best time. And that’s what matters, right? Having a good time and supportin’ your team. Now get outta here and let me get back to my stories.
