Alright, alright, let’s talk about this… uh… ppv tonight wwe thing. My grandson, he’s always yellin’ about it. Wrasslin’, he calls it. Big sweaty guys in little shorts, smackin’ each other around.
So, tonight, somethin’ big’s happenin’. They call it a ppv. Don’t ask me what that means, sounds like somethin’ fancy. Probably costs a pretty penny too. My grandson, he says it’s on the… USA Network. At 8 o’clock. That’s late for an old lady like me, but he’ll be glued to the TV, I betcha.
This wrasslin’ stuff, it’s always happenin’. Seems like every week there’s somethin’ new. They got this Raw show, and a SmackDown show too. Different guys, different fights, I guess. It’s all the same to me, just a bunch of thumpin’ and yellin’. But the young folks, they love it. My grandson, he goes on and on about it. This guy beat that guy, this guy’s the champion… Lordy, it’s hard to keep up!
- They had one of these ppvs a while back. WrestleMania, they called it. Big deal, apparently. Lots of hoopla.
- Then there’s this Royal Rumble thing. Sounds like a free-for-all to me. Everyone jumpin’ in the ring, goin’ at it.
- And SummerSlam… Well, that one’s in the summer, I reckon. Hot weather, hot tempers, makes sense I guess.
This week, though, it’s somethin’ different. It’s the ppv tonight wwe, and it’s gonna be a big one. My grandson says it’s gonna be from… Wichita, Kansas. That’s way out there. Don’t know how they get all those people to watch it in one place, but they do, somehow.
They had another one of these wrasslin’ shows the other night, this SmackDown thing. My grandson was tellin’ me all about it. Somethin’ about “WarGames” and this fella named Paul Heyman havin’ a secret. Always some kind of drama with these wrasslers. Can’t just fight, gotta have secrets and grudges and all that nonsense.
And last week? They was in Everett, Washington. Always movin’ around, these wrasslers. Never stay in one place for long. Keeps things excitin’, I suppose. For the young folks, anyway. Me, I’d rather sit on the porch with a glass of sweet tea.
But the ppv tonight wwe… this one’s got my grandson all worked up. He’s been talkin’ about it all week. Who’s gonna win, who’s gonna lose, who’s gonna get smacked the hardest. It’s all a mystery to me, but he seems to enjoy it. So, I guess that’s somethin’. Keeps him out of trouble, mostly. Except for all that yellin’ at the TV. Drives me batty sometimes, but what can ya do? Kids these days…
So, if you’re into that wrasslin’ stuff, tune in tonight, I guess. USA Network, 8 o’clock. ppv tonight wwe. Just don’t expect me to understand what’s goin’ on. It’s all just a bunch of sweaty guys in little shorts to me.
Honestly, I just hope nobody gets hurt too bad. They fall down awful hard sometimes. And all that yelling? My ears start ringing just listening to it. But hey, it makes my grandson happy, so I guess that’s all that matters. He’ll be glued to the television, yelling and cheering and carrying on. Me? I’ll probably just knit and try to ignore the racket. But that ppv tonight wwe… it’s a big deal, apparently. So, there you have it. That’s all I know about it.
