Alright, let’s talk about these two fellas, Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle. Them boys, they were somethin’ else in that wrestlin’ ring, ya know? Always goin’ at it, hammer and tongs.

Kurt Angle, he was a tough cookie. I heard tell he had some trouble with his neck and them pain pills. Said his body couldn’t take all that WWE ruckus no more, so he went off to somethin’ called TNA. Less work, I reckon. Can’t blame a man for lookin’ after himself, can ya?
And then there’s Chris Benoit. Folks say he was one of the best ever. Top ten, maybe even top five! They got him in some kinda hall of fame, Stampede somethin’ and another one too, Observer thingamajig. Guess he was a big deal. But, Lord have mercy, things went real bad for him at the end, real bad. WWE don’t even talk about him no more. Pretend he ain’t never been there, like he’s some kinda ghost. But them matches, they still on the TV, if you know where to look.
These two, Angle and Benoit, they fought a whole bunch. Started way back in 2000 and went on for years. Some folks say it was the best wrestlin’ feud ever. Just pure wrestlin’, no fancy stuff. Like that time in 2003, they had a handicap match, them two against Big Show and them other fellas, Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin. Angle and Benoit, they whupped ‘em good. Beat ‘em all by themselves!
- They were giants, them boys.
- Real strong and tough.
- Could throw each other around like ragdolls.
I remember hearin’ about that Royal Rumble match in 2003. Angle and Benoit, just them two, goin’ at it for twenty minutes. Folks say it was a barn burner, real classic. Angle won, kept his title, or somethin’ like that. Folks still talk about it to this day.
It’s a shame how things turned out for Benoit. A real shame. But you can’t take away what he did in that ring. Him and Angle, they put on some shows, let me tell ya. They made wrestlin’ somethin’ special. Two tough guys, goin’ at it, givin’ it their all. That’s what wrestlin’s all about, ain’t it? Just two fellas tryin’ to prove who’s the best. And them two, well, they were both pretty darn good.

Nowadays, you don’t hear much about them together, on account of, well, you know. But if you ever get a chance to watch some of their old matches, you should. You’ll see what I’m talkin’ about. You’ll see some real wrestlin’, some real grit, some real passion. It’s somethin’ special, somethin’ you don’t see much of anymore. Just good ol’ fashioned fightin’, that’s what it was. And Angle and Benoit, they were two of the best at it.
The internet, that thing’s got all sorts of information, ya know? They even got a place where they keep track of all the wrestlin’ matches. Says right there, Chris Benoit versus Kurt Angle, lists all the times they fought, who won, all that stuff. Folks even rate the matches, sayin’ which ones were good and which ones weren’t. It’s somethin’, ain’t it? How they keep track of all that.
So yeah, that’s the story of Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle, as best as I can tell it. Two great wrestlers, two tough guys, two fellas who left their mark on the sport. One went on to other things, the other…well, let’s just say it ended bad. But them matches, they still there for folks to watch and remember. And that’s somethin’ that’ll never go away.
