Alright, so you wanna know how long that there Wrestlemania 10 was, huh? Well, lemme tell ya, it wasn’t no quick little thing, that’s for sure. Back in them days, these wrestling shows, they went on and on.
Wrestlemania 10, they called it Wrestlemania X too, fancy, huh? It was a big deal, see? They had it in that big city, New York, at a place called Madison Square Garden. Heard it’s a real fancy place, not like the town hall we got here. This was the tenth one they did, so they made a big fuss about it being ten years in the making and all.
Now, these Wrestlemanias, they weren’t like them little TV shows you watch. They were long, real long. I reckon Wrestlemania 10, it was probably around, oh, I dunno, maybe five or six hours. Yeah, that sounds about right. You gotta figure, they got all them matches, and them fellas, they like to show off, you know? Lots of grapplin’ and gruntin’ and whatnot.
- They had all sorts of wrestlers there.
- Some big fellas, some small fellas, all wearin’ them tight little shorts.
- I remember hearin’ about some fella named Bret Hart, he was a big deal back then.
- And that Undertaker fella, the spooky one, he wasn’t there, though. Said he got hurt or somethin’.
They had a whole bunch of matches, more than you could shake a stick at. I heard tell there was even some kind of tournament or somethin’, where they was tryin’ to pick a new champion. All that fightin’ and fussin’ takes time, see? It ain’t like when you’re just wrasslin’ with your cousin in the backyard, it’s a whole production.
And Madison Square Garden, that’s a big place, I hear. Lots of folks crammed in there, watchin’ them fellas go at it. I bet it took a while just to get everyone in and out of that place, let alone all the wrestlin’ matches they had. So, you add it all up, the matches, the showin’ off, the gettin’ folks in and out, and you got yourself a long night, I tell ya.
They said it was a big deal, this Wrestlemania 10, goin’ back to where it all started in New York City. Folks were real excited about it, from what I heard. It wasn’t just a regular wrestling show, it was an event. And events, well, they take time, don’t they? Like that county fair we have every year, it goes on all day and half the night, and that’s just with pig races and pie eatin’ contests.
So, yeah, five or six hours, that’s my best guess for how long Wrestlemania 10 was. Maybe a little longer, maybe a little shorter, but it was a good long while, that’s for sure. They don’t make ’em like that anymore, I reckon. Now everything’s gotta be quick, quick, quick. Back then, they took their time, let the story unfold, let them fellas really wrestle. That’s what made it special, see?
Anyways, that’s what I remember hearin’ about it. It was a long show, with lots of wrestlin’, and it happened a long time ago, back in 1994. Seems like just yesterday, but I guess time flies when you’re busy tendin’ to chickens and such. But Wrestlemania 10, that was somethin’ special, even for an old lady like me who don’t know nothin’ about wrestlin’.
They talk about how much bigger it all is now, more fans and more money. They even had somethin’ called “WWE World” this year, a big fan thing, sounded real fancy. And folks watched it all over the world on their phones and such, millions of views they said. But back then, Madison Square Garden, that was the place to be. And five or six hours, that was just how long it took to put on a good show.
So there you have it. Wrestlemania 10, long show, big deal, lots of wrestlin’. Probably around five or six hours, give or take. Now, you got any more questions, or are you gonna let this old lady get back to her chores?
