You know, that HIKULEO, I seen him on the TV the other day. Big fella, ain’t he? Reminds me of my grandson, always getting into scraps. This HIKULEO, he’s a wrestler, they say. Jumps around in that ring, all sweaty and such. I don’t rightly know what all them moves are called, but he sure can throw a punch!
I heard someone say he was gonna be in the WWE, whatever that is. Some big wrestling thing, I reckon. My neighbor’s boy, he watches that stuff all the time. Says it’s the best. This HIKULEO, he must be pretty good to get in there with them other big fellas. He used to be with some other group, NJPW they call it. Sounds like alphabet soup to me! But now, they say he’s going to the WWE, that means he’s moving up in the world. Good for him, I say!
He had his last match or something with that NJPW. Heard it was in June. That is what folks say. He is going somewhere. I don’t know all the details. Old ears ain’t what they used to be. But I hear things, you know. People talk, ‘specially ’round here.
- He was in some kinda match with another fella. They call him El Phantasmo. Don’t ask me, I just hear these names.
- They won some kinda belt. I think they called it the NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Titles. That’s a mouthful, ain’t it?
- They beat these other two fellas. One was called Mikey, I think. The other one, Shane.
They say HIKULEO started all this wrestling stuff back in 2016. That ain’t too long ago, seems like. He is been doing this for a while now, since 2016. That’s what them internet folks say. My granddaughter, she’s always on that thing. Shows me pictures of this HIKULEO. Says he’s a big deal. Well, he is a big fella, that’s for sure! He is been doing tag team wrestling since 2016, too. I do not know what that means, but that is what folks are saying.
This wrestling, it’s a whole other world, ain’t it? They got all these names for things. Like that Internet Wrestling Database. Sounds fancy, don’t it? I don’t know much about computers, but my granddaughter, she showed me. They got all sorts of information on there about this HIKULEO. His matches, and who he fought, and all that. There is something on the internet that they call Sportskeeda. It has a whole page about HIKULEO. They say he is from Kissimmee, Florida. I do not know where that is. It sounds far away.
It is something when folks get excited about that stuff. They say that HIKULEO got signed on to the WWE in July 2024. I don’t know what signed on means, but it sounds important. He is going to do big things I guess. My grandson, he gets all excited about these wrestlers. Says they’re like them superheroes in them comic books. I guess I can see that. They’re strong, and they do all them flips and jumps. It’s something to watch, I’ll give ’em that!
There was some other team, Bishamon, I think they called ’em. They wanted to fight HIKULEO and that El Phantasmo fella. Seems like everyone wants a piece of this HIKULEO. He must be something special. He has a lot of matches. It is hard to keep up. They put them all on that internet thing.
He is been wrestling with a few different people. I heard them say Master Wato and Shota Umino. They fought some group called BULLET CLUB War Dogs. They got some strange names these days. And there was some other fella, David Finlay, I think. It’s all a bit much for me to keep track of, to be honest.
There is a whole lot of these matches that this HIKULEO is in. They list them out somewhere. I think they said there was 161 of them. I could not believe it. That is a lot of wrestling. They keep track of it all somewhere. You can see all of his title matches somewhere, too. I do not know what that means, but it sounds important. They said to change the “results per page” to see more. I do not know what that is. It is all too much for me.
They say he is good, this HIKULEO. They say he is going to be a big star. Well, he is already a big guy, that is for sure. I guess we will see what happens. I do not know much about this WWE thing, but it sounds like a big deal. Maybe I will watch it sometime. Maybe my grandson can explain it to me. He knows all about this wrestling stuff.
Anyway, that’s all I know about this HIKULEO fella. He’s a big wrestler, and he’s going places, that’s what they say. And that’s all this old lady has to say about that!
