Last time I watched, they was playin’ against them… what’s their names… the Brahmas. Yeah, that’s it. San Antonio Brahmas. Them Brahmas, they tough. It was a real fight, I tell ya. Michigan Panthers lost that one. 19 to 9, I think it was. Yep, 19-9. Tough game.

Now, I don’t keep track of all them numbers, but I hear folks talkin’. They say the Michigan Panthers box score ain’t always the best. But they win some too! Just the other day, someone was saying they beat some other team. Can’t recall the name right now. My memory ain’t what it used to be.

I saw one game where they played the Showboats. That was a close one. The Michigan Panthers won by a little bit. It was excitin’, that’s for sure. They scored 24 points, and the Showboats, they got 18. 24-18, yeah.

People always ask, “Who won?” Well, sometimes it’s the Michigan Panthers, sometimes it ain’t. They got a schedule, you know. They play different teams all the time. You gotta check that to see who they’re playin’ next. It is hard to remember, there are a lot of football teams. But I always wish the Michigan Panthers to win.
One time, I heard they played a real good game. Beat another team real bad. 31 to 18, that’s what I heard. That was a good day for the Michigan Panthers. They was playin’ in Birmingham, I think. Big stadium, lots of folks watchin’.
The Michigan Panthers box score, it changes every time they play. Sometimes high, sometimes low. You never know what them boys are gonna do. That’s why we watch, I guess!
That Quarterback, Perry, He’s Alright
They got this one fella, Perry, I think his name is. He’s the quarterback. He throws the ball. Sometimes he does good, sometimes he throws it to the wrong team. He needs to work on that, I reckon. Still, they play and that is what is important. I like that Perry guy, he is trying.
One time, I saw him throw the ball real far. Almost won the game. But they didn’t. Lost by just a little. 18 to 16, it was. Close one! That Perry, he was 12 for 24 that game, whatever that means. I think it was not good, ha?
Those Field Goals, They Count Too!
They got another fella, Bates, I think. He kicks the ball. He’s pretty good at it. He got one through them poles from 22 yards away. I don’t know how he does it, but he did. That made the score 19 to 6. Good for him!
Sometimes, when they can’t get all the way down the field, they let that Bates fella kick it. He gets them some points that way. Every point counts, I always say. Even them little field goals. The Michigan Panthers need all the help they can get. We need to support our players, even that Perry that does not play very well.
