Okay, so I’ve been wanting to play a UFC game on my PC for a while now. Turns out, there isn’t a new, official UFC game made just for PC. The last one I found was EA Sports UFC 4, and that was back in 2020, it is for gaming consoles.
But I did not give up so easily. I really wanted to give it a shot. I did some digging and tried a few things out.
Here’s what I did:
- Used the Xbox App: I found out that the Xbox app for Windows lets you stream games from an Xbox One or Series X/S to your PC. Cool, right? So, I installed the app and connected it to my Xbox account.
- Searched for the Game: After logging in, I looked up “UFC 5” in the app’s search box. That is the latest I could find.
- Got it Downloaded: I saw a “Download” button on the game’s page, so I clicked it. Since I already bought the game before, it started downloading right away. It is important to remember that you need to buy it first.
Now, I do not think it is the perfect solution. I mean, you are streaming the game, not actually running it on your PC. But hey, it worked! I got to play a UFC game on my computer, and that was pretty awesome.
I also saw something about a desktop app for UFC Fight Pass on some website called WebCatalog Desktop. I did not try that one, but it might be worth looking into if you are really into UFC. It might just enhance the experience.
So, yeah, that’s my little adventure with trying to play UFC on PC. It is not the same as having a dedicated PC version, but it is still something. If you are like me and just gotta have some UFC action on your computer, this could work for you.
