So I’ve been getting into PGA 2K23 lately, it’s a pretty fun golf game. But most of my buddies are on different gaming platforms. I’m on PS5, some are on Xbox, and a couple are still rocking the older consoles. This got me thinking, can we actually play this game together?
I did what any normal person would do – I dove into the internet. I started hitting up Google, reading forums, and checking out what people were saying about PGA 2K23 and cross-platform play.
Turns out, there was a ton of chatter about this. Some folks were saying it wasn’t possible, others were hopeful. Then I found some gold. Apparently, the game got a patch, an update not too long ago.
And guess what this update did? It enabled cross-platform play! I was stoked. This meant I could finally tee off with my friends, no matter if they were on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or Xbox Series X/S, even PC.
I immediately fired up my PS5 and checked the game settings. There it was, the option to enable crossplay. I also found out that if you have friends on different generations of the same console family, like PS4 and PS5, you can play together no problem.
I messaged my friends right away, we all enabled the setting, and boom, we were in a game together. It was smooth, no lag, just like we were all in the same room.
So, here’s the deal. If you’re wondering if PGA 2K23 is cross-platform, the answer is a big yes. Just make sure you’ve got the latest update, enable crossplay in the settings, and you’re good to go.
- Enable crossplay in the game’s settings.
- Make sure your game is up to date.
- Enjoy playing with your friends, regardless of their platform.
It’s awesome that we can all play together now, it really makes the game even more fun. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got a tee time with my buddies.
