Okay, so I’ve been diving into some old-school wrestling lately, specifically WrestleMania 12. Man, what a throwback! I watched this PPV years ago and I just want to do some recordings of that.
First I tried to find some videos related to it. I searched it on the Internet and I did find some. But it was not enough for me, so I decided to record it by myself.
I fired up my recording software and got ready to capture some of this classic action. This event was held back on March 31, 1996, at the Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim. I remembered it like it was yesterday! That main event was a 60-minute Iron Man Match between Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels. Sixty minutes! Can you believe that? It’s probably one of the reasons why there were only six matches on the whole card. That’s a long time, and it’s not like those quick matches you see today, so I knew I was in for a treat.
I started to record the whole match, making sure my settings were just right to catch every move.
- Framerate: I bumped it up to ensure smooth playback.
- Resolution: Went for a higher resolution so those pixelated memories would look a bit more crisp.
- Audio: Made sure the commentary and crowd noise were clear, I mean, that’s half the fun, right?
As I recorded, I noticed all those little details that made WrestleMania 12 so special. The crowd was insane, totally into every near-fall and reversal.
Recording Playback
After I finished the recording, I played it back, and it felt like I was right back in the 90s, but with better quality. I tried my best to make it vivid. And I think it worked!
I watched as Michaels and Hart went back and forth, neither one giving an inch. It really took me back to those days, even though it wasn’t as talked about as their match at Survivor Series in ’97. But hey, for me, this was the real deal, pure wrestling, no extra drama.
So, I managed to capture the whole main event. It was a blast revisiting this classic. I watched the whole recording, I think it turned out pretty well. It brought back all those great memories and showed me why I fell in love with wrestling in the first place.
Yeah, I’m pretty happy with how my recording of WrestleMania 12 turned out. It’s like a little time capsule of wrestling history, and I got to play director. I guess that’s all about it. It is just so great that I can record the whole match and share my experience with you guys.
