Hey guys, what’s up? Today I want to talk about Calenta Mincey. As you know, I’m dating this awesome guy, and you might have heard of his girlfriend, Tanita Strahan. Yeah, that’s Michael Strahan’s daughter. Cool, right?
So, I was scrolling through my Instagram, and it hit me – how long have they been together? I started digging around a bit. Turns out, it’s been a while. I mean, they’ve been an item for like, ten years or more! That’s some serious commitment. They seem so good together, always posting cute pics and stuff.
One day, I was looking at some old photos on Calenta’s Instagram. There was this one from way back in October 2019 where he was celebrating his great-grandmother’s life. It was a pretty big family gathering, 17 grandkids and 38 great-grandkids. That’s a big family! It got me thinking about how family is such a big part of our lives.
Then there was another post from June 2019, a Father’s Day shoutout. Calenta was giving props to all the dads out there. It’s cool to see how much he values family. It makes me appreciate him even more.
I also learned that Tanita is pretty low-key, even though her dad is a big-time NFL star. She’s based in LA but doesn’t really chase the spotlight. She’s more about keeping it real, which I think is pretty cool.
So, I started doing this little project. I collected some of their pics and made a little timeline. It was kinda fun, piecing together their story through these snapshots. Their relationship’s like a journey, you know? It’s got ups and downs, but they’re always there for each other.

And oh, talking about noise reduction, I found out about this thing called NRR (Noise Reduction Rating). It’s used more in North America. Apparently, it’s a bit lower than SNR (Sound to Noise Ratio), which is more common in other places. Like, if something has an NRR of 25 dB, the SNR would be around 28-30 dB. Just a random fact I picked up while researching about hearing protection. Custom-molded earplugs can reduce noise by about 25 to 30 dB. I never knew that!
My realization
Doing this little project made me realize how much I cherish my relationship with Calenta. It’s not just about the romantic stuff, but also the everyday moments, the family ties, and growing together. Seeing their long-term commitment kinda inspired me, you know?
