Well, now, let me tell you a little somethin’ about them 2015 Chicago Bears. They sure wasn’t the best of the best that season, ya know? Finished with a 6-10 record, fourth in that there NFC North Division. Not much to brag about, but hey, they still played their hearts out, some of ‘em anyways.
Let’s see, who we had on that team… We had a bunch of fellas, some I remember, some I don’t. You know how it is, gettin’ old, memory ain’t what it used to be. But I’ll tell ya what I can remember. We had this coach, John Fox. He was alright, I guess. Tried his best, but 6-10 ain’t nothin’ to write home about.
Now, where did them Bears play? They played in the NFC North, like I said. That’s with them Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, and them Minnesota Vikings. Tough bunch, them Packers always been a pain in the neck for the Bears.
- Detroit Lions
- Green Bay Packers
- Minnesota Vikings
We had some players, yeah, some good ones, maybe not all-stars, but they tried. I reckon you can find all their names and numbers somewhere on that internet thingy. They got all sorts of information on there, more than an old lady like me can keep in her head. Stats and scores and all that jazz.
Talking ‘bout famous players, the Bears had some real legends back in the day. Mike Ditka, tough as nails, that one. And Dick Butkus, now there was a hitter! Jim McMahon, the quarterback, he was a character. And Brian Urlacher, he played defense like a man possessed. But them fellas, they weren’t on the 2015 team, no sir. Those were the old-timers, the real deal.
This 2015 team, they was just… well, they were there. They showed up, they played, they won some, they lost more. That’s just how it goes sometimes, ain’t it? You can’t win ‘em all, especially when you’re up against them Packers and them other tough teams.
They had a schedule, sure did. Played a whole bunch of games. You could probably find that schedule online too, if you’re so inclined. Dates and times and all that. Me? I just watched ‘em on the TV when I could. Sometimes they was on too late for an old lady like me.
And the draft? Every year they get new players, young fellas tryin’ to make a name for themselves. I don’t pay too much attention to that draft stuff. Too many names, too many numbers. I just like to watch the games and see how they do.
So, the 2015 Chicago Bears roster, it wasn’t anything special. Just a bunch of guys trying their best. Some of ‘em were good, some of ‘em weren’t so good. But they were our Bears, for that one season anyways. And that’s all there is to it, really. They played, they lost more than they won, and then the season was over. Just like that. Happens every year, don’t it?
You want all them fancy stats and all that, you go look it up online. They got everything on there. Passing yards, rushing yards, touchdowns, all that stuff. Me? I just remember if they won or lost, and mostly they lost that year. But hey, there’s always next year, right? That’s what they always say.
Anyways, that’s about all I got to say about them 2015 Chicago Bears. They weren’t the greatest, but they were still our team. And that’s somethin’, I guess.
And like I said, if you want all the details, go look it up online. They got all the player stats, the schedule, who they drafted, everything you could ever want to know. Just search for “2015 Chicago Bears Roster” or “Chicago Bears 2015 Stats” or even “National Football League” if you want to know more about the whole league. It’s all there, just waiting for you.
And one more thing, remember, it ain’t always about winnin’. Sometimes it’s just about playin’ the game, ya know? That’s what them Bears did in 2015. They played the game. And that’s good enough for me.
