Okay, so today I decided to tackle that quest in Genshin, the one that sends you to the “abandoned shrine northeast of Konda Village”. Honestly, I’d been putting it off because, you know, exploring can be a time sink. But I finally bit the bullet.
Getting Started
First things first, I teleported to the Konda Village waypoint. It’s the closest one, makes sense, right? From there, I pulled up my map – gotta have a plan, even if it’s a loose one. I spotted the shrine icon, thankfully it was marked clearly, northeast of the village, just like the quest description said.
The Trek
I started heading that way, and man, was it a bit of a hike! The scenery was pretty, don’t get me wrong, classic Inazuma vibes. But I ran into a few hilichurl camps along the way. Nothing too crazy, just your usual sword-swinging, mitachurl-charging kind of deal. I took them out, because, well, gotta get those materials, right? And also, they were in my way.
The path wasn’t exactly straightforward. I had to climb a few cliffs, glide across a couple of gaps – you know, the usual Genshin parkour. I even stumbled upon a Seelie, and you know I followed that little guy to its court. Extra treasure is always welcome!
Reaching the Shrine
Finally, after all that, I arrived at the abandoned shrine. It was definitely…abandoned. Kinda rundown, overgrown with plants, the whole nine yards. But hey, that’s what makes it interesting, right? The quest marker was pulsating, so I knew I was in the right place.
The Investigation and Solving the Puzzle
I started poking around, interacting with anything that looked even remotely suspicious. There were these little, I don’t know, glowing orb things? I messed with them, not really knowing what I was doing, to be honest. I used my elemental *’s a series of three puzzles, and the first two are super easy. You follow the path around, and each has three shrines you pray at, which makes a new shrine appear and so on until the final shrine gives you the item you want.
There’s also one near the entrance of the cave system under the well in Konda Village, same deal, you have to activate these three different spots, and a samurai spawns in the end, so you can get it.
After a bit of trial and error, finally get all these three items!It turned out to be the key, you need the Memento Lens to look at the small kitsune statues through, then you can say the sacred words, and they all make three kitsune statues appear, which gives you the ward to cleanse.
So yeah, that’s how I spent my afternoon – getting lost, fighting hilichurls, and figuring out cryptic shrine puzzles. Just another day in Teyvat!
