Okay, so, I wanted to get into this whole “home run predictions” thing. It sounded cool, you know, like a fun way to make watching baseball even more exciting. I’m not really into sports betting, but I saw some stuff online like “Best MLB Home Run Prop Bets for Wednesday” and I thought, why not give it a shot? Just for fun, of course.

First, I tried to find some information about today’s games. I figured that was a good place to start. I saw something about “four Wild Card matchups” starting in the afternoon. Alright, four games, that’s something I can work with. It is not a big deal.
Then, I started looking at specific players. I saw a name, Corey Seager, pop up. Apparently, he’s a shortstop for the Texas Rangers, and some people were saying he’s a good pick to hit a home run. I don’t know much about him, but I wrote his name down. I also noticed something about “odds” and a place called “DraftKings Sportsbook,” but I kinda skimmed over that part. I was more interested in just picking a player based on, like, a gut feeling.
I started to watch some highlights of Seager playing. Just to see what he’s like. The guy’s got a pretty powerful swing, I’ll give him that. He seems like he could easily send the ball flying out of the park. I watched a few more videos, just to get a better feel for his style.
After watching some videos, I decided to do some more digging on the other teams playing today. Maybe there were some other players who looked promising. I spent a good hour or so just browsing through different team rosters and stats. Honestly, it was a bit overwhelming. There are so many players and so much information!
But hey, I kept at it. I made a list of a few other players who seemed like they had a good chance of hitting a home run. I based my picks on a mix of their recent stats and, well, just how much I liked watching them play. Not very scientific, I know, but it made the whole thing more fun for me.

My Final Prediction
So, after all that, I finally made my prediction. I decided to go with Corey Seager. I figured, even if he doesn’t hit a home run, at least I’ll get to watch some good baseball. And who knows, maybe I’ll get lucky!
- Picked Corey Seager to hit a home run.
- Watched the game.
- Seager didn’t hit a home run. Oh well!
It was a fun experiment, even though my prediction didn’t pan out. I definitely learned a bit more about baseball and the players. Maybe next time I’ll try a different approach, or maybe I’ll just stick to watching the games for the fun of it. We’ll see! Overall, it was a good experience.
