Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post, following your instructions and example:

So, I finally got my hands on Black Myth: Wukong for the PS5. Been hyped for this game for ages, and let me tell you, the experience of actually playing it is something else. I wanted to jot down my initial steps and how it all went down.
Getting Started
First things first, I pre-ordered the game. I mean when you get a free DLC for pre-ordering, I had to. I have a auto-installer on my PS5, so that was installed, sat there and waited to unlock.
Installation and Setup
When the installation happened, I fired up the PS5. The game icon was there, all shiny and new. I was a little suprised because I expected it to be a HUGE file size, but It was manageable, around 40GB, which is pretty standard for big AAA games these days. I clicked on the icon, and the game started to boot up.
First Impressions
- The opening cutscene? Absolutely stunning. The graphics are seriously next-level. I’m talking crisp details, amazing lighting, and the character models… wow.
- The controls felt pretty intuitive. I messed around with the basic attacks, dodges, and transformations. It’s got that Souls-like feel, you know? Challenging, but rewarding when you get it right.
- Sound Design. I cranked that up!
Diving into Gameplay
I started a new game, choosing the default difficulty (I like to live a bit on edge!). The combat is where this game really shines. It’s not just button-mashing. You have to time your attacks, dodge enemy blows, and figure out their patterns. I spent a good hour just practicing on the early enemies, getting a feel for the different stances and abilities.
I explored the first area, which was this beautiful, overgrown forest. The level of detail is insane. I kept stopping just to look around at the scenery. It really feels like you’re stepping into a Chinese painting.

I ran into the games first boss. Lost… Alot. But hey, at least i’m used to it now.
Overall Thoughts (So Far)
My first few hours with Black Myth: Wukong have been awesome. It’s definitely living up to the hype, at least for me. The combat is engaging, the visuals are breathtaking, and the world feels incredibly immersive. I’m still very early in the game, but I’m completely hooked. Can’t wait to see what else it has in store!
