Okay, so I’ve been trying to get a good handle on the Maryland Terrapins football team’s lineup, and let me tell you, figuring out the depth chart has been a bit of a journey. I wanted to know who’s playing where, who the backups are, and all that good stuff.

Digging for Information
First, I went straight to the source, that should be easy and right, but I spent a time to find their info, many old info mixed there.
Then, I tried looking at some sports news websites. Again, it’s kind of a mess of articles and predictions, but hard to find some complete, clear list.
Putting the Pieces Together
I started to collect all that I found, I created a simple file on computer.
I wrote down what I found, and I could basically piece together a rough idea of the depth chart, with the help of all datas. It wasn’t perfect, but it was something!
The Final(ish) Product
After all that digging and organizing, I finally had something resembling a depth chart. It’s not official, and things can change with injuries or whatever, but it gave me a much better sense of the team’s lineup.

I listed main players at each position, and wrote down their potiential replacers. And, I marked some players who play more than one position on the field.
It was not professional but it was a fun prictice. I enjoyed the process.
