Well, let me tell ya, things ain’t easy for that Brendan Schaub feller right now. Y’know, he’s been in the spotlight for a long time, first as a big ol’ fighter in the UFC, then as a comedian and podcaster. But recently, there’s been a lot of talk ‘bout him, and it ain’t ’bout his jokes or his past fights. It’s about his little baby girl, Billie Isabel Schaub.
So, this here Billie, she’s the third child of Brendan and his wife, Joanna. They had her back in November of 2023, and I reckon they were all overjoyed with the new little bundle of joy. But things haven’t been goin’ too smooth for the poor little gal. Since she was born, she’s been fightin’ a real tough battle with her health. I heard tell she’s been in and outta the hospital, sufferin’ from some kind of illness that’s been really tough on her and her folks.
Now, it’s one thing to see your baby cryin’ and fussin’ over a cold, but it’s somethin’ else entirely when your little one’s in the hospital, and you don’t know if she’s gonna get better. That’s what Brendan’s been goin’ through, and I can tell you, he ain’t been takin’ it lightly. They’ve been tryin’ everything they can to help her get well. I reckon it must be a terrible thing to go through, watchin’ your own flesh and blood suffer like that.
So, what’s Brendan been doin’ about it all? Well, I reckon he’s pulled back a bit from his stand-up comedy and his podcastin’. I heard that after all these years of people talkin’ ‘bout his decisions and him gettin’ advice from folks like Joe Rogan, Brendan decided to step away from his usual busy life for a while. It’s tough, but family’s family, right? Ain’t no doubt that when you got a sick child, you’d drop everything just to be there for ‘em.
And folks, it ain’t like Brendan’s a stranger to tough times. He’s been through a whole lot, from his UFC days where he was in the ring, all the way to now, when he’s dealin’ with something a whole lot more important than any fight or comedy show. It’s about his little Billie. She’s been havin’ all kinds of issues with her health, and it sounds like she’s gonna need more surgeries in the near future. That’s real tough for any parent, especially when it’s so unexpected. Ain’t nobody can prepare for somethin’ like this, no matter how tough they are or how much money they got.
I know people talk about Brendan sometimes—ain’t nobody shy to voice their opinions these days. They might mention his past with Ronda Rousey, or how he made the switch from UFC to comedy and podcastin’, but right now, all that don’t matter one bit. What matters is his little girl and her health, and it sounds like Brendan’s focusin’ all his energy on her. His fans, family, and even some of the folks from his old UFC days, they’ve been rallyin’ around him. They know this is a rough road, and it’s not gonna get any easier any time soon.
It’s a hard thing to talk about, but that’s what’s goin’ on in the Schaub household these days. I reckon everyone’s just hopin’ for the best. It sure don’t seem fair when a little baby has to go through so much, but life ain’t always fair, is it? All we can do is pray for little Billie, and hope she gets the care and love she needs to pull through this tough time.
Now, I ain’t one to go around tellin’ people how to live their lives, but I do know this—family comes first, no matter what. Brendan might’ve been a fighter in the cage, but right now, he’s fightin’ for his baby girl’s health. And that’s somethin’ every parent can understand.

We can only wait and see how things turn out, and send some good thoughts and prayers to Brendan, his wife, and their precious little Billie.
