Okay, so I’ve been hearing a lot about this “Brian Morris Golf” thing lately, and honestly, I was curious. I’m not the best golfer, more of a weekend warrior, really. But I figured, why not give it a shot? See what all the fuss is about.

First, I tried to find some solid info. It wasn’t as easy as I thought! It’s not like there’s one big “Brian Morris Golf” website or anything. I stumbled across a few different things – some videos, some forum posts, and bits and pieces here and there.
Digging In
So, I started by watching some videos. I noticed that a lot of it focused on the setup and, like, the feeling of the swing. Not a lot of super technical jargon, which was good for me. I mean, I don’t need to know the physics of the clubhead speed; I just want to hit the ball better!
- Focused on a good grip. I practiced just holding the club, getting used to the feeling.
- Tried to get my stance right. This felt awkward at first, to be honest, but I kept at it.
- Swung… a lot. Mostly air swings at first, just trying to get the motion down.
Hitting the Range
After a few days of messing around in my backyard, I decided to hit the driving range. I figured, “What’s the worst that could happen?” (Famous last words, right?)
It was… interesting. I shanked a few (okay, more than a few). I topped some. But every now and then, I’d connect, and the ball would actually go straight! That was a pretty cool feeling.
I was focous on a good grip, that I practiced before, I kept holding the club, getting used to the feeling.

The Verdict (So Far)
Look, I’m not suddenly a pro golfer or anything. But I do feel like I’m understanding the swing a little better. It’s more about rhythm and timing than I realized. I’m still working on it, still practicing, still hitting the range when I can. It’s a process, you know? But I’m having fun with it, and that’s what matters, right?
