Alright, so listen up, you wanna know about this Buddy Leroux fella? I’ll tell ya what I know, the way I know how. No fancy words, just plain talk, ya hear?
Who’s this Buddy Leroux? Well, they say he was a big shot businessman, born way back in 1930, August 17th to be exact. That’s a long time ago, let me tell ya. Woburn, Massachusetts, that’s where he came from. Heard it’s a real nice place, though I ain’t never been there myself.
Now, Buddy, he wasn’t just any businessman. He did all sorts of things. Started out as a trainer for them Boston Celtics fellas, the basketball team, you know? Back when they were winnin’ championships, in the 50s and 60s. Guess he knew how to keep them boys in tip-top shape, rubbin’ their muscles and whatnot.
- Started as an athletic trainer
- Became a big time businessman
- Owned a piece of the Red Sox
- Was a real estate big wig
But that weren’t enough for Buddy. He had bigger fish to fry. He got into business, made a whole lotta money, I reckon. Became a real estate baron, they call it. That means he owned a bunch of land and buildings, probably rented ’em out for a pretty penny.
And get this, he even owned a part of the Boston Red Sox! That’s the baseball team, for those of you who don’t know. A Major League Baseball club owner, imagine that! He musta been rollin’ in dough. Must have loved them sports, first basketball then baseball, makes ya wonder what he liked more, the game or the money you can make from it.
This Buddy fella, he was more than just business and baseball, though. They say he founded a hospital too. A hospital! That’s a big deal. He musta cared about folks, wanted to help ’em when they were sick or hurt. A good man, maybe, or maybe just another way to make some money, who knows these rich folks’ mind.
Buddy Leroux’s Life and Times: So, he was born in 1930, worked with them Celtics fellas, got into business, bought a piece of the Red Sox, built himself a real estate empire, and even started a hospital. Sounds like he was a busy fella, always hustlin’, always doin’ somethin’.
They say he was a real character, this Buddy. I ain’t exactly sure what that means, but I reckon it means he was one of a kind, a bit different from the rest. Maybe he was loud, maybe he was quiet, maybe he was just plain stubborn. Who knows? But he sure made a name for himself.
A New England Success Story: They call him a New Englander who made it big. That means he came from around here, you know, New England, and he became successful, made a lot of money. Heard tell he lived up in Tuftonboro, New Hampshire later on. Nice place, all them lakes and trees, probably real peaceful up there, especially for a rich fella like him.
He passed away in 2008, January 7th. That’s a shame. Lived a long life though, gotta give him that. 87 years, that’s a lot of livin’. Wonder what he did with all that money, hope he left some for his family and maybe helped out some poor folks along the way. Makes ya think dont it?
More Than Just a Baseball Man: So, yeah, Buddy Leroux was more than just a baseball man. He was a businessman, a hospital founder, and a real character. He was a New Englander who made it big. A man of many hats, as they say. Lived a full life by the sound of things, more than most can say for themselves, ya know.
Now, I ain’t no fancy writer or nothin’, but I told you what I know about this Buddy Leroux fella. He was a businessman, a sports guy, and a big shot. A real New England success story. And that’s all there is to it, plain and simple. Now you go on and tell someone else about him, ya hear?
