Well, let me tell you, that WWE live in Cardiff, it’s somethin’ else! I heard folks talkin’ ’bout it down at the market, and it got me all riled up. That Cody Rhodes, he’s a strong fella, ain’t he? Heard he’s some kinda champion. That’s what they say.
They got all them wrestlers, jumpin’ around, slammin’ each other. Makes my old bones ache just watchin’ ’em. But it’s excitin’, I gotta say. You see all them people in the crowd, hollerin’ and screamin’. It’s a real spectacle, that’s what it is. I heard they call it WWE live, or somethin’ like that. Sounds fancy, huh?
They say this WWE in Cardiff was a big deal. Some big fight, with that Rhodes fella and some others. They call it a “tag team” match, whatever that means. Sounds like a bunch of kids playin’ in the yard if you ask me. But hey, people like it. It was in October, on a Sunday, the 13th, I think. It is in 2024, a big year.
- Cody Rhodes
- Bayley
- Lots of others, can’t remember all them names!
These WWE fellas, they go all over. They got shows on the TV, too. Every Monday and Friday, I think. One’s called Raw, and the other’s called SmackDown. Raw’s longer, that’s what I hear. Three hours of that wrasslin’. SmackDown’s shorter, just two hours. It’s all a bit much for me, but the young folks, they love it. They have it every 8 p.m. ET time, whatever it means.
Back in my day, we didn’t have nothin’ like this WWE live show. We made our own fun. But I guess times change. These young folks, they like all this loud music and flashy lights. And them wrestlers, they sure are somethin’. All that jumpin’ and yellin’.
I heard they had one of them WWE shows in Cardiff before. Some time ago. Folks still talk about it. Must have been a good one. They say that Rhodes fella was there, too. Standin’ tall at the end, whatever that means. I guess he won or somethin’. This was a non-televised live event, it means you can only see it at the arena.
They say this WWE thing is popular all over. Not just here in Cardiff. They go to other countries, too. I heard they call this trip United Kingdom tour. Sounds important. I guess wrestlin’ is a big deal these days. More power to ’em, I say. If it makes people happy, that’s all that matters. They have many title matches on that day, it is a big event for all WWE fans!
Now, they got this thing called a WWE Network. It’s like a TV channel, but just for that wrasslin’. They send out emails and tell you everything about it. People can watch all that WWE live stuff whenever they want. But I hear they’re stoppin’ it soon, in 2025 or somethin’, and makin’ it free for a little while first. Seems like a waste to me, but what do I know?
Some folks say there’s another wrasslin’ thing called AEW. They say the fights are better, but the WWE folks put on a fancier show. I don’t know nothin’ about that. Too much wrasslin’ for me. It is all about that bell to bell things, I don’t understand it at all. But from start to finish, the AEW is better than WWE. They even have higher quality matches. But who am I to say?
Well, I reckon that’s all I got to say about that WWE in Cardiff. It’s a big to-do, that’s for sure. Lots of noise and excitement. If you like that kinda thing, you’d probably enjoy it. Me, I’ll stick to my garden. But it’s good to see people havin’ fun. That’s what life’s all about, ain’t it? That live pro-wrestling is a good thing for young people. They can see those heart-pounding matches and gravity-defying moves. That is fantastic!
This WWE live thing, it’s a whole different world. But hey, to each their own, right? As long as everyone’s happy, that’s all that matters. And that Cody Rhodes, he seems like a good fella. Even if he does spend his time jumpin’ around in a ring. He is a champion after all, need to be strong. A real good show, that WWE.
