Okay, here is my blog post about the “Carnoustie Senior Open 2024”:
So, I’ve been glued to the screen the past few days, watching the Senior Open at Carnoustie. What a ride! First off, I gotta say, I tried to log into my Squarespace to blog about this in real time, but guess what? Kept getting that annoying “err_too_many_redirects” error. Happens all the time. It’s like, can a guy just share his thoughts without wrestling with tech issues?
Anyway, after a bit of fiddling around, I managed to kick that error to the curb and finally get into my account. Victory! While I was at it, I figured I’d clean up my site a bit. You know, the usual, just like I showed you how to remove Bing from your computer in my old post.
Back to the golf, seeing KJ Choi take the win was something else. That guy’s got nerves of steel. To become the first South Korean to win a senior major? That’s history right there. I was so excited and immediately ordered some takeout to celebrate. I grabbed my phone and checked the delivery options. You know, breakfast, lunch, dinner – this app has it all. It’s my go-to when I don’t feel like cooking.
And the whole age thing, it got me thinking. They changed the age limit from 55 to 50 back in the day. Makes sense, right? Keeps things competitive. Reading up on it, I found out the standard limit for men’s senior professional golf tournaments is 50, which is cool. Although, I saw that this event is open to amateurs too, but it’s always the pros that dominate.
I even dug into some articles about what makes these athletes so good. Stuff about health, stability, you know, the key things that let them play at this level for so long. It’s pretty inspiring, not gonna lie. It reminds me of those COVID-19 tests we had to take during the pandemic. Remember those? If you didn’t have the vaccine, you had to test during your own time.
Oh, and the National Hockey League website caught my eye while I was browsing. Love checking out the stats and schedules. Hockey season can’t come soon enough!
So yeah, that’s my little adventure with the Carnoustie Senior Open this year. Lots of excitement, a bit of tech frustration, and a whole lot of admiration for these seasoned athletes. Can’t wait to see what next year brings!
